mlkywy @mlkywy.bsky.social · 05/10/2026i don't have a horse in this race, i'm just happy to see these two at the apex of the world again 040
mlkywy @mlkywy.bsky.social · 05/10/2026dimitri vs edelgard in the final round... those two are simply bound by fate, you see... 💙❤️ 2100

mlkywy @mlkywy.bsky.social · 05/10/2026i don't agree with how a lot of hardcore edelgard fans frame her character because she is indeed supposed to be flawed (same with hardcore dimitri fans who think he's right about everything) i just feel both characters are more emotionally intelligent than they're sometimes regarded 🥲 020
mlkywy @mlkywy.bsky.social · 05/10/2026"I doubt a highborn person like yourself could know how the poor feel or what motivates them," is another line of hers that is completely butchered/mistranslated too which really sucks since it's brought up every so often to hate on her 230
mlkywy @mlkywy.bsky.social · 05/10/2026nor is she trying to dodge responsibility or deny her actions. she's asking whether taking back and trampling on everything back will bring him closure/peace of mind/satisfy his grief since she can see what it's doing to him... but that part is left out in eng, phrasing just sounds worse overall 130
mlkywy @mlkywy.bsky.social · 05/10/2026tbh this is another line of hers that suffers from half-assed localization/translation 🥲 it's not really supposed to be a "no, you" kind of response, moreso edelgard is aware dimitri fighting back will bring about an endless cycle of violence since she doesn't intend to stand down, 130
mlkywy @mlkywy.bsky.social · 05/10/2026LMFAOOO TBH I AGREE even when they're bleeding out because of the other they're cute and precious... 110

mlkywy @mlkywy.bsky.social · 05/10/2026here's my tumblr, if we're mutuals here, i'll fb there too 🥰 www.tumblr.com/mlkywy 240
mlkywy @mlkywy.bsky.social · 04/10/2026posting one of my fav scenes here too because the urdu/hindi dub of jaadugar is quite good ❤️ 030
mlkywy @mlkywy.bsky.social · 26/09/2026the most annoying ppl you can possibly think of are already knee deep in arguments 😭 010
mlkywy @mlkywy.bsky.social · 14/09/2026i know that in the canon, it's much more likely he was injured or tortured (and actually still has the eye too), but just sharing why he wears an eyepatch even in my ambiguously CF/AM/VW inspired "the lords work together" golden route 070
mlkywy @mlkywy.bsky.social · 14/09/2026(but it doesn't help, of course. and unfortunately, he thinks, he cannot carry out his revenge while completely blind) 170
mlkywy @mlkywy.bsky.social · 14/09/2026i don't think i ever posted it here but i like to headcanon that dimitri gouges out his own right eye; the hallucinations of his loved ones driving him to his breaking point, such that he desperately takes matters into his own hands 👁👈 180
mlkywy @mlkywy.bsky.social · 14/09/2026like it's precisely because it is edelgard who dimitri has convinced himself was involved in duscur that that he loses his mind, to varying degrees depending on the route. hatred so overwhelming that it can only come from affection of equal measure and the perceived betrayal of it 040
mlkywy @mlkywy.bsky.social · 14/09/2026whether someone interprets his feelings as platonic by the academy phase or not (both valid), i've personally always believed that were the flame emperor revealed to be anyone else, he wouldn't have crashed out nearly as hard 140
