For ~15 months I ran the same prompt on LLMs: “Profile this Rust interpreter, optimize bottlenecks, iterate while tests pass.” It always failed. In Dec 2025 (Gemini 3 Pro + Cursor), it worked end-to-end. → profiler setup → safe refactors → continuous validation mliezun.com/2026/05/14/w...
