No deal is better than a bad deal. Canada is dealing with an administration that is using bullying tactics and false narratives to justify imposing new tariffs. Canadians are rejecting this posture in favor of working with countries that respect sovereignty and the rule of law.

It's possible that the ramp up of NATO spending is a result of NATO members losing confidence in the US as a partner and deciding to begin distancing themselves from an unstable ally. NATO needs to remind the US that entering conflicts without consultation can nullify NATO's support.
