Mark Laudate @mlaudate.bsky.social · 24/09/2026Hollywood is dying. They can go. Time for something else. LA is expensive and people are tired of seeing it. Bigger problem is they just aren’t making good movies 051
Mark Laudate @mlaudate.bsky.social · 20/09/2026No. In the 80s I actually lived well on minimum wage. Paid rent, ate, went to a few shows. There are no “teenager jobs”. Its the messed up economy 000
Mark Laudate @mlaudate.bsky.social · 17/09/2026It was 2026 and they were drinking bleach and refusing vaccinations 130
Mark Laudate @mlaudate.bsky.social · 17/08/2026Man. Threads is an ugly place. The Death of the monoculture and absence of fact checking has led to people believing lies and half truths. I don’t even believe anything I read until I see it in about 3 sources. 000
Mark Laudate @mlaudate.bsky.social · 11/12/2025In case you haven’t been over on FB or threads. 17 is okay. The R word is acceptable. And everything is affordable now. 120
Mark Laudate @mlaudate.bsky.social · 18/09/2025My dog licks my face when I sing. Its a pleasant STFU 010
Mark Laudate @mlaudate.bsky.social · 16/03/2025Tombstone is a great one and “The Wild Bunch” is one of my favorites 010
Mark Laudate @mlaudate.bsky.social · 15/03/2025Pizzaflix on youtube has all the old singin cowboy movies. Tex Ritter, Roy Rogers, and a ton of others. 90 years old and still entertaining 110
Mark Laudate @mlaudate.bsky.social · 15/03/2025I too enjoy john wayne. Especially the real old stuff 110
Mark Laudate @mlaudate.bsky.social · 14/03/2025Old Spaghetti Westerns have become my comfort viewing 220
Mark Laudate @mlaudate.bsky.social · 25/02/2025Leopards eating faces? Who coulda seen that? Everyone thats not a complete idiot. 000
Mark Laudate @mlaudate.bsky.social · 25/02/2025After all the firings they kept the people who started this whole downward spiral. 000
Mark Laudate @mlaudate.bsky.social · 25/02/2025And it will cost them many more viewers. F them and WaPo. Sellout corporate media sucks 000
Mark Laudate @mlaudate.bsky.social · 25/02/2025MSNBC used to be on 24/7. After Scarborough bent the knee I only watched clips on YouTube. Now, they are deleted. Ill stick to Meidas touch, Bryan Tyler Cohen, and politics girl. #FUCKMSNBC 210
Mark Laudate @mlaudate.bsky.social · 07/02/2025And freaking out is normal. It just won’t do any good. It’s only 2 weeks in. 000
Mark Laudate @mlaudate.bsky.social · 07/02/2025Freaking out wont help. Waving signs around wont help. We must take control of the flow of information. Right wing billionaires own the mainstream media. Now is the time for keyboard warriors. We need to get info out there 100
Mark Laudate @mlaudate.bsky.social · 07/02/2025Empathy should not be controversial or political. I refuse to embrace cruelty. Even if the majority is for it. 020
Mark Laudate @mlaudate.bsky.social · 05/02/2025We are already at the point where nothing surprises me. I am already wondering if its really happening. Gaza is the “site” of the new “riviera of the middle east”? 010
Mark Laudate @mlaudate.bsky.social · 02/02/2025Jeff Goldblum as the Wizard. Perfect. There is never a wrong time for Jeff Goldblum but this is perfect 010
Mark Laudate @mlaudate.bsky.social · 02/02/2025Complain about my feet, my back, and how todays music sucks 010
Mark Laudate @mlaudate.bsky.social · 01/02/2025Normal is what we get used to. We never return to normal. Nothing was normal after 2019. 140
Mark Laudate @mlaudate.bsky.social · 18/01/2025Always negativity, but it has been difficult to be an optimist the past few years 010
Mark Laudate @mlaudate.bsky.social · 17/01/2025Print journalism is dead. Has been for a while. WAPO just took away the corpse 010
Mark Laudate @mlaudate.bsky.social · 16/01/2025So Neil Gaiman, a favorite writer, has been justifiably cancelled. David Lynch, a favorite director, has passed. Did I miss anything else? Damn 010
Mark Laudate @mlaudate.bsky.social · 16/01/2025High taxes on wealth. That’s how we did it before. Billionaires were not possible 130
Mark Laudate @mlaudate.bsky.social · 13/01/2025Strictly black tea. Lipton is the mainstay. Also enjoy Irish or English breakfast, Earl Grey and Tetley. 000
Mark Laudate @mlaudate.bsky.social · 12/01/2025Zilla all day. Batman is the Elon Musk of superheroes 000
Mark Laudate @mlaudate.bsky.social · 09/01/2025Intelligence and competence used to be valued. Its just about making money now 020
Mark Laudate @mlaudate.bsky.social · 09/01/2025My theory is that we miss youth and not the “good old days”. The 80’s was not a perfect time but we did have affordable rent, food, and live music. 010
