I assume they overbook these events to compensate. This venue was small, so they *should* have been able to get butts in chairs. I think early departures accounted for most of the empty seats.

Yep. Thousands couldn’t get in … because they didn’t try. At other “packed” Trump rallies, cameras have shown a steady stream of people leaving the venue. Not “migrating down,” but walking to their cars. Even those who say they like him don’t have the patience for his long, incomprehensible rants.

I was just responding to this: “HBO peaked over a decade ago. Now its reality slop mostly. Breaks my heart.” I didn’t sense that you were talking about the impact of the mergers. I was just defending recent HBO shows. The mergers’ impact on content are a bigger can of worms.

HBO is the network. HBO Max is the network’s streaming service. The network also produces original content. The Pitt, for instance, is an HBO show. 90 Day Fiancé is a TLC show that streams on HBO Max.
