He is. The investigation is ongoing. In the meantime he's as welcome anywhere in Britain as a turd in a swimming pool. He's treated with utter contempt by everyone, and if no charges are brought after the investigation there'll be national outrage (which the authorities are well aware of).

... and a mea culpa from Boris Johnson is almost unthinkable, it's just not in his wheelhouse. This is a seismic statement.

I hope Americans realise what a statement, an acknowledgement... almost a mea culpa this is. Johnson has bent over backwards to support Trump and the Republican Party so much over the last few years, to the huge detriment to the UK and in the face of all logic. For him to say this now says it all!

They only work in clichés and old school stereotypes don't they, this was the perceived norm in the 50's/60's therefore it must be the same now.

Exactly, there's no room for complacency. Everyone needs to get out and do everything they can to ensure a blue victory. Don't assume that others will get it done.

Betty would be first to complain about lack of integration from various immigrant communities...yet when a Somali brit grows up here and is so integrated that she's part of our political system she's "dictating" what happens here.
