Was out protesting in Tampere city center against the governments plans to allow mining under a fragile ecosystem called Viiankiaapa. It was cloudy, wet, and cold, but the turnout was still pretty good!

I heard that the cognitive reflection test is pretty hard, even though it only has three questions. It took me less than 30 seconds to solve them. Do people REALLY struggle with those? They are essentially reading comprehension tests!

I adore you Leon, Egyptologist here, they were built by a largely volunteer force (corvée labor) of 25,000. The builders were very well fed, paid in bread and beer, and received excellent medical care. There was no slavery whatsoever, it is a common misconception.

Done grading the exams and the results are... interesting. After explicitly having forbidden AI use in the online exam many still chose to use it (7/29). Two were such blatant cases that I just set all of their points to zero. I designed the exam so that no AI could complete the assignments. How? 👇

I expressly said in two separate emails NOT to use AI in the online exam. In the exam I warned that they would receive zero points if they are caught using AI. One student completed the three hour exam in 35 minutes. They tripped all the anti AI questions. 🤦🏻‍♂️
