Uninstructive and low quality spectra and interpretation (how many others?). In the first case, how can an ABq be seen as m? Resonances in the second are low intensity to be useful. Further, how is the anomeric H an m (it is typically a "t" or sometimes a "dd")?

In the past week, I have read two papers in "reputable" journals where authors "showcase" their chemistry with nucleosides as substrates. The problem is the structures shown are not D-nucleosides. Changing locations of the purine/pyrimidine and the CH2OH produces the enantiomer.
