So the type of infection I have is actually pretty damn dangerous, and this might end up being something I'm gonna have to deal with for the rest of my life. Also any future infections I have might end up being harder to treat. So that's fun. As if I didn't have enough health problems.

When I was 17-18, I had a partner who had BPD and I was extremely ignorant and honestly downright ableist about it, and it's something I deeply regret and I've spent the last few years correcting. That being said I got my karma cause guess who just found out they also have BPD. 💔

they're likely not going to be as understanding of big emotions, both of their own and of others, which can lead to emotional stunting and serious problems later in life. Obviously don't over expose them to ACTUALLY traumatic things like R rated horror but there needs to be a balance.

Gee, it's like exposing kids to films with realistic emotion and trauma makes them more understanding and empathetic... Not saying there's anything wrong with kid films that are more lighthearted, those are also important, but if you raise your kids to only be exposed to sunshine and lollypop films
