No “Celebrity Traitors UK” spoilers, but I like it when they cut to the faithfuls unwittingly doing “bedtime routine” stuff while the traitors discuss who to kill - and clearly, James Blunt enjoys that part, too.

My kids and I check in with a “Would You Rather?” app at bedtime each night, and it’s a fun conversation starter, but it came out a few years ago and I think some of the questions are old and haven’t aged well.
Would you rather have dinner with the president (16% said yes) or have dinner with your favourite celebrity (84% said yes)?

And now, a word from someone who objects to capitalism but still takes issue with calling it racist.
A Revolutionary Communist Party sticker that reads “You can’t have capitalism without racism.” Someone has blacked out “without racism” and the identifying information, but left the “You can’t have capitalism” intact.

There’s an excellent collection of essays called “Another World is Possible” that was published shortly after the 9/11 attacks. It’s a time capsule that captures the mood of the moment through diverse and marginalized perspectives. Well worth a read if you can get your hands on a copy.

Bradford’s trying out a new “Every Problem in Toronto Starts with ‘C’” message. It’s clearly a nod to his popular opponent, whose name also starts with “C.” But because he doesn’t come right out and name her, he ends up looking like he’s trying to pick a fight with Cookie Monster.

We’re down in our old neighbourhood, and I was reminded of the time at our old local when I saw Julian Richings. One of the very few people for whom there’s no moment of “Is that him?” because of course it’s him because nobody else looks like him.

This is probably a weird time to say so, but my first exposure to Dolly Parton was technically through Polly Darton, a Muppet based on Dolly Parton who used to sign songs like “Counting One to Five” on “Sesame Street” when I was a kid.

Sure enough, the Chow campaign sent the following out to their mailing list on Sunday.
You may have read that a new poll shows Olivia with an 11% lead. But polls can change overnight - and we still have 66 more to go until Election Day. Anything could happen.

In 2023, Olivia faced dozens of candidates and a divided opposition. By spring, she led by double digits. But as Election Day got closer, so did the polls. In the end, we won by a slim margin.

We won that campaign through hard work and by staying focused on what matters: talking to voters, growing our volunteer team, and inspiring our supporters to cast their ballots for Olivia.

I’m not going to click “Show” because there’s no way that this exchange will be funnier with the five muted posts than it is without it.

“The Biggest Failure in Broadway History,” which is the third episode of the second “Mr. Show” season, features the two sketches (“No Adults Allowed” and “Jeepers Creepers, Semi-Star”) that Google’s AI has confidently but wrongly combined into one sketch.
You are quoting the sketch "The Biggest Failure in Broadway History" from season 3, episode 1 of Mr. Show with Bob and David.

Details from the Sketch

• The Line: Bob Odenkirk's frustrated outburst ("Craig, goddammit, get out here!") is a memorable recurring line from the character running the disastrous Broadway production.

• The Context: The sketch centers around a wildly unsuccessful stage musical full of absurd misfires, technical gaffes, and bewildered actors.

• Famous Quote Pairings: Fans often pair it alongside other classic lines from the bit, like a character proudly declaring, "I'm 14 and I just love to play those damn video games!"

Also, I just realized that Alexander posed for this photo at the top of my block, and although he’s allowed to do that, I don’t like it. There are a lot of people in this neighbourhood that, for lack of a better way to put it, he would have had us report to the federal government.
