Today was the finale of my home group’s 8-player, 3-year long TTRPG campaign. 1-20, excellent momentum from start to finish. Such a great experience. While I’m gonna miss it, I’m so happy it was a complete story with a proper end.

For me it’s usually one of two things: Skill expression, where it’s satisfying to engage with a specific system, class, playstyle (say, learning to Jungle in League, for instance) or Games that facilitate socialization. I love Lego-talk style games where me and some pals can chat while we play
