Just watched the last episode of Ludwig Series 2 and it was so good! I am so eager for Series 3! It will be too far away - although apparently an Xmas Special is on the way! The only downside were the two new detectives. They seemed to add very little & just seemed to be there to add commentary.

Found the only existing episodes from the 1970s BBC anthology series Dead Of Night on YouTube. Never seen them before so watched all three today. "The Exorcism" was very intriguing & good fun. "A Woman Sobbing" was also interesting & left many a question. "Return Flight" was the least successful

UK viewers, I watched the 2016 televised play "Cyprus Avenue" on BBC4 last night and it was brilliant! Very funny but with moments of supreme darkness! Definitely watch it but be warned it has moments of quite painful awfulness! Stephen Rea was outstanding in the lead role.

I followed a star,

I plagiarised myself for a seat at the table.

They all laughed & I was nothing.

I retweeted dumb fuckery,
They all approved.
The world moves on.

The shell of normalcy has become so brittle.
We break backs to beckon barbed wire peace.
A shame.
A damn shame that we are ashamed to be shamed.
But who can we blame?

We blame the others,
Our forefathers & mothers.

Another war, a blight against peace.
Will peace cease to condemn as we feast?
We eat lies & truth in some kind of amuse bouche.

I just concluded listening to the 6th Doctor Big Finish audio drama "The Holy Terror" and really enjoyed the weird oddness of it! I mean having a talking penguin as a companion was an interesting idea anyhow! But the story was so rich & strange. Definitely a highlight

In US sitcoms/other shows they make a big thing about kids not having coffee or not drinking more than a couple. Yet here in the UK I drank coffee as a child (I prefer tea) & have often drank more than 1 in a row & had no effect on me (apart from a full bladder!). So what's going on over there?!
