Being autistic and having a not ENTIRELY parasocial relationship with your childhood favourite band is the most bizarre and chaotic experience of all time. What do you mean I KNOW how you feel about me?!?!?? ME??????? Do you have the right person?!?!

A screenshot of Instagram comments on a post made by user Lisa_Veronica from Australian band The Veronicas.

The top comment is written by myself, mjdelarue13, and says “You are SO PRETTY” - the comment shows it was liked by Lisa.

Underneath is a reply from Lisa, that reads “@mjdelarue13 you KNOW how I feel about you. Love you beauty x”

If Jess from The Veronicas said this to me when I was 15 I WOULDVE DIED! Maybe I will still die! My yellow hair that I dyed myself in my bathroom that she has not seen IRL??? ME???? BLESS

mj x veronicas lore is truly the most chaotic, like why was eating ice cream one second and posing for photos for instagram user jessicaveronica the next? 😭 I truly love these girls so much, I am so blessed to have them in my life xx

It genuinely feels like a fever dream to talk about. Saw her 5 times in the span of a week in March 2012 😭 there was something really magic about every single one of those shows too.

Happy heavenly birthday today Mish, I miss you so much. There is nobody else I’d rather talk shit, eat pizza, and go down YouTube rabbit-holes until 3 am with. Gonna go get bubble tea and a fat slice of cake in your honour later today x love you always
