Totally serious question that we'll get out of the way here: "... ... Ddoooooo you pay the one?"

I'm in the middle of a REALLY chewy design for a Heavily Narrative-driven #ttrpg. I'm so used to mechanical definitions for story progress that "Theater Kid" progress is overwhelming and fascinating. Wanderhome and Blades in the dark have been super helpful in building looser scene structures

Explaining a drawing TTRPG. If you've seen the episode of Bluey where they have a drawing adventure, it's this.

The antagonists are Fears, lost lil guys trying to eat the Ideas. There's a rock paper scissors for normal challenges, and two primaries team up to beat the secondary Fear.

Third grade. I had moved to a different school, so I wasn't around a crowd that knew me. I had 3 very specific instances of "This made sense in my head, why's everyone staring at me?!" Point of order: My weird is being neurospicy

I thought it was supposed to be orange and black? Or was that like a Straight Max and this is Straight+?

Danny's also 82 apparently. TL/Dr: There's a lot I don't know, I want to hope for whimsy.

000

Joshua, Silverquill Expert @mizzixonmain.bsky.social · 12/10/2026

So, point of order: Danny was in one episode, and this seems to suggest, they offered a movie, then no one found out it was daily wire until they couldn't back out. This feels like a "If he had a more consistent paycheck, he could be more choosy with roles".

Is it possible to mail someone a tuft of grass so they can go touch it? It bums me out seeing someone so terminally online.

The remaining players can invoke that idea, use it to help them find their people. The Good Ending is all the Ideas find the person they're meant to inspire.

000

Joshua, Silverquill Expert @mizzixonmain.bsky.social · 07/10/2026

Players draw how they want to overcome a complication and eventually defeat the Fear. For effectiveness, Primary colors have a rock paper scissors on how to beat them, and Secondary colors require a team up. When an Idea has inspired someone, they don't just vanish.

For my #wipwednesday I have a #ttrpg idea that I literally just started baking, but I found the hook so we're chasing it: it's "Diceless FATE Accelerated" vibes where characters are Ideas trying to find someone to inspire. The Narrator makes the Fears that stand in the way of those Ideas.

TTRPG cover for a game called Weird Lil Guys

Lore explaining the land of Rheem, where ideas come from (I'm not in love with the body text, but I'm just cooking right meow).

If you make yourself actively uncomfortable, bed can be used for nap, but it's a risky move.

#ttrpg idea that I don't want to make any sudden movements around: inspired by the Bluey episode where they draw as a family to defeat a dragon, Weird Lil Guys uses colors to solve complications in the story. Primary colors have a rock paper scissors, secondary colors require a team up.

The TTRPG cover for weird little guys. The game encourages drawing weird little goobers while having fun. You don't have to draw "Beautifully" You're drawing weird lil guys!

They need you beaten down and willing to stay inside a box. They burn all the energy to maintain a bowl of oatmeal standard. They also need constant reminders of how special and important they are. Legitimately, one of the most powerful actions is to treat them like the cowardly 7th graders they are
