I found an adorable knee harp. Not sure if it's decent build quality from pictures alone but it seems nice. Have to sell a few more artworks to justify the purchase but it is a good motivator.

It is SO GOOD since it not only has furigana and clickable words so you can see the meanings instantly it has audio! Shadowing is probably the most important thing in language acquisition imo. Rote learning kanji one by one was far too overwhelming

Is anyone playing Infinity Nikki right now? Because aaaaaaaa it's like my dream come true. I used to love the Nikki series of fashion games and always hoped that they would take the concept further. The developers did a stellar job converting it to 3D because the designs are incredible.

This is such a great way to see it! It’s just about trying not to lean on your reference too much as a crutch. I paint a lot from reference and try to bring my own flavour to it too. A great example is how I try to reimagine colours/textures

A reference photo I took of eishoji temple in Kamakura, Japan

A painting of the same temple with a more dreamlike cohesive colour scheme

A more abstract approach to the same subject pushing the values and textures of extremes
