i am much more entertained by this game than i thought i'd be...

It could be written a lot better, especially the mystery aspect and actually giving the reader a proper way to guess who's possessed instead of just everyone acting weird, but yeah i think its fun to see more of the flaws of everyone in gensokyo and how they react in this scenario

Yeah, i think there's definitely some criticism to be had for how the story handles Mizuchi easily outsmarting a lot of the characters, but i also enjoy seeing how noone is really prepared for this sort of incident, and how quickly all of the groups in gensokyo start mistrusting eachother

the past hakurei shrine maiden. Because honestly her just being okay with being beaten by her again felt a little weird and quickly resolved to me... Crossing my fingers we'll get more Mizuchi backstory later. pleasee (9/9) Okay thats all from me for now. Thanks for reading. i💙Mizoopy Miyadegoopy

Now, FDS is still ongoing, and i'm not sure what to make of the whole "there's another mizuchi!" thing yet, personally i think it must be her dream self, rampaging because Mizuchi hasn't truly gotten over her grudge, only temporarily repressed it after getting to see (feel the presence?) of (8/9)

to her story and to believe in her. Like her being caught completely off guard by Yuugi actually siding with her? her genuine smiling and laughing? oh my god. (7/9)

And also besides all that, i think Mizuchi just has a really fun, expressive personality. Like her villainous introduction speech and her inner monologue while walking around the human village, she really plays up her "evil vengeful spirit" role when all she really wanted was someone to listen (6/9)

Mizuchi, with a scary face: "Guess i need to send the entire surface even further into the depths of terror..."
(she says, to literally just herself. like omg dude)

it was so fun to speculate on her past!! And even after we've gotten more answers, there's still a lot that feels kind of vague (Please. Mizuchi. Elaborate on what your opinion about the relationship between human and youkai was. PLEASE!!) so it's still fun to think about (5/9)

For me personally, i think the mystery around Mizuchi when she was first revealed did a lot to make me really invested in her... Cause like, suddenly this character shows up with suspicious design parallels to reimu (hair tubes, pony tail, red & white etc) who has a grudge against the Hakurei, (4/9)

when it's such a core part of touhou, and yet is shrouded in so much mystery. Though we didn't learn THAT much new info (other than seeing an actual past shrine maiden which is so cool!! That hasn't happened since DiPP!!!) from seeing Mizuchi's past, it's still insane right??? (3/9)

the balance in gensokyo, and it's never as personally targeted towards Reimu as Mizuchi is in FDS. I love the spotlight she puts on specifically Hakurei shrine and how Reimu deals with things. And of course, the scraps of info we got on the Hakurei shrine's past is SO insanely interesting (2/9)

(Have i ever explained on this account why i really like Mizuchi?) I think her role as an antagonist with a truly personal grudge against gensokyo and specifically the hakurei shrine is incredibly interesting. Usually touhou villains have some other motive that just happens to mess with (1/9)
