Am I being pedantic by saying people overrate Sigurd he's really good but that nigga isn't in the other half of the game where he would be really useful

It is done quite possibly one of the best Fire Emblem games ever made, I only really had two issues with this game and that's recruitment and saves but all the shit they tried I loved it and I could go on and on about this game but I'ma sleep on it

020

MitoRequiem @mitorequiem.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

If you actually want to use them the earlier you recruit the better cause the auto leveling and auto parking is legit bad in this game lmao and yeah unless you use the cloud save exploit banking on luxury crates is rough 😬

110

MitoRequiem @mitorequiem.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

You can actually get a lot more if you back up your save and just save scum Luxury Crates you can even get Mini Bows from them, and if you late recruit Jester, Nuzzo and Nezha they come with Levin Swords lmao

You know I always said the only way Sony could win me back is if they made a new Ape Escape but this doesn't move me, especially after the "Let's get rid of Physical" bullshit they're pullin

I see people say this a lot but what makes it a Mario game besides it being created by the same team and having similar visuals to Odyssey lol

I don't mind how long Fortune's Weave is, in reality it might not be that long for me because I am just faster at games in general than most people but that one save shit is gonna be so annoying I know it, hopefully when they add Maddening mode they are more files

The worst part about being black and insanely conscious but don't speak out too much about it is all your non-black friends are inherently anti-black without realizing it, anyone who's ever said "the friend who's too woke" or misused woke and actually meant it is anti-black

Young Link looks cursed, glad it's a more faithful remake, Zelda notes integration isn't as cool as OOT/TotK, will be using JP voices 100000% annndd damn more Amiibos when J already have so many...

Skeb is like an art comission website mainly used by Japanese people iirc, It was *really* popular during 2020 but I haven't heard anyone use skeb in *forever* you would basically send your commission with details and pay and then stuff just gets sent to you with no real conversation

A bit dramatic but I think I don't wanna do my RE3 run for the marathon I submitted to(It's not even confirmed accepted or not) because I can't stand RE fans lol

MitoRequiem @mitorequiem.bsky.social · 27/08/2026

There are genuinely some tracks in ToAU, CoP and WotG that make me tear up lol lot of that has to do with nostalgia but there is some beautiful tracks in that game

030

MitoRequiem @mitorequiem.bsky.social · 26/08/2026

Yeah I mean for those genres you mention totally, I am mostly talking about other genres(mostly action games in general) and as for speedrunning I think I typically stick to games with some type of replay value now that you mention it lmao

000

MitoRequiem @mitorequiem.bsky.social · 25/08/2026

I know it's different but this is sorta funny coming from a speedrunner, for me lots of my enjoyment of games lives and dies by how replayable they are and I sorta hate how games are being designed to be less replayable(shitty stealth sections/one file/bloated beginnings)

110

MitoRequiem @mitorequiem.bsky.social · 25/08/2026

I sorta get what you mean by that I feel like ego sorta comes in handy here, I hated the Zelda franchise for a bit(crazy I know) cause I linked it to an ex but I realized just because she liked it almost as much as me doesn't mean it's hers that's MY series 👁️

than Ike ever was, hell even Roy too

000

MitoRequiem @mitorequiem.bsky.social · 21/08/2026

Is he not predestined for anything? I mean Ragnell and eventually being the only one to slay a god lol, also outside of Alear I never really felt like any of the FE protags had the "choosen one" energy, I would legit argue that Leif had way more of a struggle and was comparatively more average

100

MitoRequiem @mitorequiem.bsky.social · 21/08/2026

Also those people that left came back LOL, he also got Royal support among the Beorcs and Laguz so I dunno man. I'm not really sure why people are so obsessed with status

101

MitoRequiem @mitorequiem.bsky.social · 21/08/2026

Something I often think about is Ike gets glazed for not being a Prince but like did the Royal protags of the FE series really benefit much more than Ike did for their status? I mean Ike inherited his Dad's Mercenary group which granted some people left but the important people stayed.
