just thinking about this old comic about bikes and brains from a few years ago

the first 4 panels of an 8-panel comic.
panel 1 - kit and a bike mechanic in a bike shop. the mechanic is fixing a wheel. he says: “okay, this should make things a lot easier for you.”
panel 2 - closeup on kit, who thinks: “easier?? why the fuck would i want anything to be easy?”
panel 3 - another kit appears, wearing sunglasses. they put their hands on the first kit’s shoulders and say: “hey. its me, you 12 hours from now after you e had time to process this weird reaction. i have news.”

another stitching experiment—the circles and button are sewn on the spine separately before attaching the folios, and the vertical link stitches sew the folios to the spine. they look simple, but the pattern is actually pretty tricky internally. it took many tries but i got there!
