And here's her simulation of waves on Titan's hydrocarbon lakes under the same wind speed. Not slow motion -- the waves move more slowly due to Titan's lower gravity!

Here's Una's simulation of waves on Earth in a 4 meter per second (9 mile per hour) wind. Beachball is 1 meter (3 feet) in diameter.

Too much sediment from rivers can hurt coral reefs, but in the long term, rivers can also keep reefs healthy by forming passes (gaps) that connect lagoons with the ocean. Megan Gillen explains how in her new paper (open access): doi.org/10.1029/2025...
