Mitchell Henke @mitchellhenke.com · 18/06/2026Bad/old OSM data is a big big problem. Many cities do not have great mapping, and should be excluded. 020
Mitchell Henke @mitchellhenke.com · 18/06/2026I'm not sure I understand the water/marshland issue, they shouldn't impact the score I very much agree that there are questionable results, I don't like some of the analysis decisions (like strictly limiting destinations to city boundaries) 100
Mitchell Henke @mitchellhenke.com · 18/06/2026Slightly different palette for the scoring, but I replaced zero population with brighter green blocks and "unreachable" blocks with dark green. 110
Mitchell Henke @mitchellhenke.com · 18/06/2026(No affiliation with PFB, though I did some open source work on the score calculations) 100
Mitchell Henke @mitchellhenke.com · 18/06/2026It should, at least in theory. The score is weighted by census block population, so any blocks that have 0 population shouldn't have an impact on the score. Blocks that have no route to any other blocks are also excluded. The display of blocks that don't impact the score could probably be better. 110
Mitchell Henke @mitchellhenke.com · 17/06/2026Super excited to see this! I made a few contributions over the last year to the analysis, it’s a really neat usage of OpenStreetMap data. 030

Mitchell Henke @mitchellhenke.com · 05/05/2026I know a couple people that have applied since the Canadian law changed, but not sure if anyone has heard back yet. 110
Mitchell Henke @mitchellhenke.com · 05/05/2026Have to get very specific pictures taken, was recommended that US passport photos may not be sufficient. There’s a photography guy in Cudahy who is apparently the go-to for Canadian applications lol 100

Sawe's *24th* mile was 4:12, only 12 seconds slower than that 1032138
Mitchell Henke @mitchellhenke.com · 27/04/2026There’s a program to pay over 10 months (Jan-Oct) interest-free, though I don’t know how popular it is. The website and process for setting it up is not intuitive. 000
Mitchell Henke @mitchellhenke.com · 20/04/2026Ahhh, I was wondering why I got a couple texts about the project over the weekend. It was launched in 2024, and while the data is continuously updated, it could use some other improvements. 010
Mitchell Henke @mitchellhenke.com · 20/04/2026I only briefly looked at landlordmapper.org data for MKE, and it is including parking spaces. I suspect it's because residential/commercial units and parking spaces are counted under one column in MPROP data (as far as I recall). Unsure how far to extend the skepticism, but I'd trust Marquette morelandlordmapper.orgLandlord MapperLANDLORD MAPPER: the national landlord database initiative 020
Mitchell Henke @mitchellhenke.com · 20/04/2026landlordmapper.org isn't affiliated with Marquette/John Johnson as I understand it (though it is referenced in the white paper) The Marquette project is here: mkepropertyownership.com 120
