"literally the worst cat I've ever had, I would defend her with my LIFE," is pretty much the description of any cat worth having around. My favorite cat (who is 100% not mine), wakes me up 2 hours before my alarm by getting on the roof to meow in my window demanding breakfast and lovins.

It was a pleasure meeting you at Pennyroyal Farm today! Egrets have always been one of my favorite birds and my wife's favorites. We were at a pet sit a few years ago in Marin county and I got this shot of roughly a dozen egrets roosting in a tree. They were making quite a ruckus.

Always a joker himself, he passed while watching late night comedy shows (I want to say it was during Seth Meyers based on the time of the morning). Our favorite to watch together was Stephen Colbert. Note: He is still alive and laughing here, but this was in the final days.

He was a 1960s hippie who turned on, tuned in, and dropped out, and came out to California from Indiana. In California, he met my mother, and they were happily married for years before I was around, and for another 14 years after I was born (and stayed friends until the end).

Four years ago on 1/12/2021 my father, a Korean war veteran who (due to a bureaucratic screw up) never got access to his full benefits, died peacefully at home surrounded by friends and family after a year dealing with the complications of metastasized lung cancer.

Why tare weight matters, a thread. I went shopping recently to get some pistachios to make stuffed dates (which turned out great). I only bought 3 tablespoons and had a feeling they'd weigh less than my 0.8oz cloth bulk bag. Notice the price difference between the right/wrong totals in the pic.
