Trans friends, you still have time to update your social security card! This morning, I updated my name and gender on my card without any pushback from my local office. The only proof I used was my driver's license. If you put this off, go to your local SSA office as soon as possible. Good luck! 🩷

For decades I never took pictures with an open mouth. The reason was embarrassing. 10 of my adult teeth never came in. Last month, I had my baby teeth removed and in 5 months I'll be ready for implants. For now, I have temporary teeth, yet for the first time in my entire life I like my smile. ♥️

I started HRT at 26 (in 1980) and transitioned socially at 29 (while keeping my teaching job with the Baltimore Public Schools). If I could do it in the Reagan Era, and if you are trans, you can transition, too.

Incredible news! Montana’s Supreme Court just affirmed that the state’s gender affirming care ban is likely unconstitutional. This makes the state the first state Supreme Court to rule that trans medical care is protected. This applies REGARDLESS of what the US Supreme Court does.

targets, the District Court reasonably concluded that the balance of the equities tips toward
preliminary relief pending full consideration of the merits. Its analysis of the last two
preliminary injunction factors was not arbitrary or unreasonable. The court did not
manifestly abuse its discretion, and its injunction was not overbroad.
156 Finally, both parties have submitted notices of supplemental authority, citing recent
cases considering challenges to various laws regarding gender-affirming care. Without
exception, the additional authority pertains to claims grounded in the equal protection
clause or otherwise based on alleged unlawful discrimination. Some of the authorities also
reference new developments in research and evidence that was not part of the record
presented to the District Court in the preliminary injunction proceedings. Because, on the
record here, the District Court's conclusions on Montana's express privacy protections are
sufficient to uphold its preliminary injunction, we affirm on that basis. The parties will
have the opportunity during the merits proceeding for full development of the record, where their experts may offer insight on any new research, and for briefing on the current case law relative to their claims.
CONCLUSION
157 The District Court made no error of law and did not manifestly abuse its discretion.
We affirm its grant of a preliminary injunction on the basis of Plaintiffs' right to privacy claim. The case will proceed to trial, at which point the District Court will finally resolve the disputed facts and issue a final determination on the constitutional issues presented.

Some of my favorite heroes are journalists and editors who have all inspired me to be who I am today. I try to write works that teach people something and brighten their day. Jesse Singal is not that. His work harms trans rights and people like me. That's why he's quickly becoming the most blocked.

Jesse Singal is being blocked by 25,737 people after just joining Bluesky. He's obsessed with writing about almost nothing but negative stories about trans people and calls himself an expert on trans people. That's weird. He is not trans, a scientist, or a medical professional.

My lovely wife took me on a birthday trip! We went to Chicago's MSI where I got infatuated with N7017U, a Boeing 727-22 delivered to United in 1964. This marvel helped ascend air transportation to new heights. Now that I occasionally dabble in flying planes my appreciation for this bird has grown. 😘

I'm hopelessly infatuated with one car, Smart. Yes, I know they don't make sense in America. I love these things so much that I named myself after the woman Mercedes-Benz gets its name from. One of my six is a diesel getting 70 mpg. Over the past 16 years I've done some crazy things with these cars!

So, let's this thing off with some style! 2005 Triumph Rocket III. Marketed as the mass-production motorcycle with the largest engine (2300cc) of its day. Until now, I've kept my bikes stock, but I couldn't help myself. It now has Harley Daymaker clone lights, bar end mirrors, and a lot more coming!
