But the ending is already almost there at the beginning of episode 1. From episode 4 we know some more. So finally it’s only two possibilities. The genius part of this series is its writing - often a couple sentences from someone can tell years of story. So I’m confident it’ll wrap up.

It’s like the top/bottom shorthand in gay culture - a useful first-pass heuristic, not a full taxonomy. Not every gay fits into those boxes, such as sides; also many are vers on a spectrum. But it’s still the first framework people reach for in most cases, and then we dig deeper for nuance.
