We will be resuming prompts tomorrow! As for prompts I will be doing one specific prompt to fields of mistria and a more broad prompt to go along with it, just so there's options, but also so people don't feel like they're missing out on a prompt. See you tomorrow at 11am PST / 2pm EST / 7pm GMT!

#fomspoilers for some elements of post-mines storyline. week 5 of #fom_69min and the actual birthday part of the prompt got away from me. olric’s affinity for the mines plus seri’s presence there just put me in the mood to be a bit spooky with it.

Art challenge week 2 This time its my favorite bachelor and interaction about him ! I know a lot are talking about the "lift with one arm" But this one is just too sweet and I never saw anyone talking about it Anyway this man is made of sugar #FieldsofMistria #FoM #Fom_69min #alouki

A character named alouki is tired, Hayden from fields of Mistria , another character talks to them : "There is no life without struggle for a farmer, but if I could be there to bring you a hot coffee in the morning, or a little treat as a boost....
Well, I'd just like to make sure your life a little sweeter.
However I can"

#fomspoilers for secret bachelor and (early) mines storyline. i don’t usually do extreme head angles, so naturally for week 2 of #fom_69min i decided to try that one head angle everyone was doing awhile back (to mixed results, imo). art took 50m, drabble (in attached comment) took 31m47.

#fom_69min introductions... i used the entire time cuz i kept changing what i was going to do...naturally i ended up with a comic lol. my guy's name is hex and is he strange and off putting #fieldsofmistria

fan comic of fields of mistria. balor is looking at a shadowy figure standing on the other side of the river. balor thinks, "Ah! That must be the new farmer!"
in the next panel, the farmer is revealed to be a guy with horns, wings, yellow cat-like eyes, elf ears, and a pointy fang. he is looking straight at balor with a perfectly neutral face and heavy shadows underneath his bangs. he nonchalantly pulls up a help wanted poster.
in the last panel, balor looks frazzled as he things, "who tf did they get...?"

Farmer introduction for #fom_69min ! Raka gets so engrossed into his work that he forgets anything else so he had already settled into the farm by the time he introduced himself to everyone #fieldsofmistria | #art | #oc

A drawing of my oc Raka standing very stiffly with his book and papers in his arms, clearly having been in the middle of work when he is caught for a conversation, and awkwardly introducing himself.

Text: Oh! Right, Adeline told me I should introduce myself...

radon (fom) with his hands on his hips. he is looking down at the viewer because he is very tall.

text reads: My name is Radon. I've taken residence at the farm south of town. Lady Ade- er... Adeline. Requested I introduce myself. We may be seeing each other from... time to time.

an arrow points to the second text bubble saying: She told him he doesn't need to be formal. he's trying.

This is a Fields of Mistria 69min weekly challenge blog! Share your works using #fom_69min on here or Tumblr. Current schedule: Fridays @ 2pm EST / 7pm GMT Please check out our Guidelines and FAQ below. If you want to send prompt suggestions, send them to our inbox on Tumblr #fieldsofmistria

GUIDELINES

The Challenge:
- Create something for the weekly prompt in 69 minutes!
- Post your work with the hashtag #fom_69min
- Have fun!

Our Guidelines:
- Keep it PG13! This is so fans of all ages are able to participate (see our FAQ if you need clarification)
- Tag game spoilers! If it includes late-game reveals (i.e, secret bachelor/bachelorette, certain heart events) please tag as #fomspoilers or similar. As of writing this, the game has not reached its 1.0 release yet. There may be a lot of new players, and this helps out those who wish to be surprised :)
- Be respectful of other participants. We want to keep a positive space among fans of the game and uplift each other.
- Be respectful of the mods. If we don’t see a post right away, please be patient. Do not spam us (more than an @ or two before the next prompt) or the inbox.

FAQ

Question: What is this?

Answer: “69min” is a challenge popular in fandom and original creative spaces alike! 69min accounts and blogs will post prompts, often on a weekly basis, and challenge participants will create something for the prompt in 69 minutes, and then post their work under the appropriate hashtag.

Question: Does it have to be 69 minutes?

Answer: I (Neon) would definitely encourage you to give the timed challenge a shot! No one’s expecting fully rendered pieces in under 2 hours, haha. You could also always revisit a piece afterwards if you want to go back and polish it :) The weekly challenge is intended to get your creative juices flowing after all.

Question: Does the timer start when the prompt is posted?

Answer: Nope! You have the whole week more or less (see late submissions question below). You can start your own timer whenever you have a chance to sit down and do it. You can even pause and resume your time if your schedule is busy. As long as it adds up to 69 minutes of work, it counts!

Question: Can I share late submissions?

Answer: Of course! The important thing is to have fun. If you want to revisit a past prompt, you are more than welcome!

Question: Can I submit 18+ content?

Answer: Please keep the fom_69min tag PG13! This is to ensure that fans of all ages are able to participate safely. You are definitely welcome to use our prompts as inspiration for works of a stronger rating, but be aware that those posts should not be under the main challenge tag and we cannot reshare them on the challenge account. If you would like to keep them under your own hashtag (i.e., “#fom_69minR18”), that’s perfectly fine!

Question: Can I share writing?

Answer: Absolutely! Though 69min challenges are prevalent with artists, it’s not a hard restriction, and we would love to see creative works in other mediums! We like to include a “scene starter” version of the prompts for writers to join in on!

Question: Can I submit directly to the blog?

Answer: As of right now, no. Using the hashtag and tagging us in the post is more than enough to get our attention!

Question: Can I suggest prompts?

Answer: Yes! You can send prompt suggestions to our inbox. Please keep in mind we may or may not use your suggestion, but feel free to send them anyway as it can help us out!
