Had fun brainstorming the captions for the show’s murder weapon cards last night, like for the C-Wrench card, “Cue 13: Death”. I’m still looking for a Seattle and Vancouver, BC venue. The call for performers is open until 1/4/26. docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1F... #Burlesque #Improv #MurderByPasties

How’s your Saturday going? Mine’s good, spending most of it in the workshop on costume and prop builds while bopping along to Sephiroth. But I’ve run out of super glue. 😱 Off to the store I go to get more. At 2 pm, I shift gears and get ready for tonight’s show. #burlesque #PropMaker #Maker

Lots of projects in flight at the moment. #MurderByPasties is creeping ever forward. Venue agreement is signed and I just need to make the deposit for Port Angeles. I’ve heard back from one Vancouver, BC, venue but it turns out not to be a good fit for them. We’ll see what the next ones say.

The Forest Eyes has become one of my favorite acts in my repertoire. It’s a slow burn piece to Blackwater Holylight’s The Protector from their Veils of Winter release. Sadly, I don’t think it’ll go to many festivals due to its runtime, clocking in at almost five and half minutes.

It was a fine birthday weekend, but it’s over. I started by getting my nails done on Saturday. Then I did a show for the Improv troupe that night. It was a birthday show. The birthday gent was celebrating his 76th birthday. By all accounts, they all had a great time and we made people laugh.

On my first flight of the day into Las Vegas and then DallasVegas for #FemmeFest2025! I woke up to a power outage, so my hair dried flat and lifeless looking. And I forgot my rhinestoned ball cap when I walked out the door, even after replacing the stones the cap had shed. Oh, well.
