These are emergency comms, Cuba's entire power grid collapsed again today. The whole country is without electricity, and these outages make it harder to work and survive. If you can please share my commissions. Every share helps me reach people who can support me with food, hygiene, and basic needs.

Hello everyone, I dread making posts like these, but I desesperately need help sharin my work right now.

I'm a Cuban artist, and commissions is the only way I have to properly put food on my table.
If you enjoy my work, the biggest way you can support me is by commissioning me or simply sharing my art
with others.

Cuba has been in a severe economic crisis for years, but the recent tightening of U.S. sanctions has made the
situation even worse. In my area, power outages now regularly last anywhere from 8 to 20 hours a day.
Sometimes we spend multiple days with almost no electricity, and when it does return, it's often only for a few
hours before going out again. As you can imagine, this makes it incredibly difficult to work consistently as
a digital artist.

On top of that, food has become increasingly scarce, and the prices of basic groceries have risen so much
that it has become a luxury to eat.

Today, the national grid collapsed again, collapses that have been happening since before the sanctions due to
our deteriorated electric system that our government has neglected fixing, now with no fuel entering the country,
the collapses are almost monthly, with three of them happening only on July.
This means from 2 days to a week of total blackout for my country, food scarcity getting worse, and an almost
paralyzed country

Around half of what I earn from commissions goes directly toward helping my family survive: food,
hygiene, and everyday expenses. The other half goes into savings for one goal:
leaving Cuba once I receive my Spanish citizenship and starting a new life with my family somewhere
we can finally have stability.

Every commission helps me keep working. Every share helps my art reach someone who may be looking for
an artist to work with or support.

Thank you so much for reading, and thank you to everyone who has supported my work.
It truly means more than I can put into words.

Rent is due and we could really use one final big push to make sure we can make it through the rest of the month. Shares are greatly appreciated ❤️💕

We're still in a financial emergency right now and will be until mid august. We're unsure how we're gonna pay rent or afford groceries till then, so I'm asking hopefully for the last time for help. Anything would be greatly appreciated. gofund.me/ffab1f521 #MutualAid #HelpSky #FundSky

I'm still the only income in the house and we've been really struggling. The other person has been filling out applications and calling temp agencies but hasn't had any luck yet. We're really uncertain how we're gonna pay rent or afford food so any help is extremely appreciated.

We're still struggling and I was supposed to start the process of getting an actual HRT prescription this month and now I'm unsure if I'll be able to afford the appointment. Every bit still helps tremendously ❤️
