his silhouette was iconic and also got me more interested in drawing, to say nothing of how the show's use of music i was familiar with also shaped what i thought was possible in media. spike spiegel was the coolest loser i had ever seen on tv and that makes him special to me. see you space cowboy.

cath @missionkitty.bsky.social · 31/08/2026

he couldn't help but care about people suffering, even though he was always living off of scraps and running from a past that would never stop following him. his suit was also sick as hell and steve blum was one of the most prolific voice actors i knew of at the time and he also made spike to me-

cath @missionkitty.bsky.social · 31/08/2026

hm. weird aggression but i'll answer in good faith! cowboy bebop ran on adult swim when i was of the age to stay awake longer than my parents would have liked, and spike was cool. he was also very uncool! and a man he taught to defend himself died anyway. spike tried to be detached but-

who was your first anime crush? very formative....spike spiegel. i also wanted to *be* him. still do lol.

saw a bunch of scrungy cat pictures and needed to draw astarion making faces......plus a little wizard rubbin. (gale's a tressym dad. it's only logical that he'd be a safe place for the cat-coded man.) #baldursgate3 #bg3 #bloodweave #art #astarion

in the coming days. you may notice a pattern in the pairings i've happened to collect in the past few weeks. make of it what you will 🤍

foolishly. i thought drawing olruggio and qifrey kissing would make me normal about them. it did not. #witchhatatelier #tongariboushinoatelier #orufrey #qiolru #myart

however. before witch hat atelier, i happily sank 800+ hours into #baldursgate3. this is reina, my half-elf bardlock who accidentally falls in love with a certain dandy vampire elf when she realises he's not as full of shit as she thought. #drawing #fanart #bg3

so icarus has the same effect on me that thanatos did in hades...i love his encounters, and i love his and mel's chemistry and interactions i like to imagine he might try to get away with a quick 'love you' but you can't escape the goddess of nightmares that easily ;) #hadesgame #hades2 #drawing

cath @missionkitty.bsky.social · 21/08/2026

so. since my disappearance, i went through a lot of fixations. and i will be sharing them little by little here now haha. got deep into #hades2 after 1.0 came out...waxwitch was especially sweet to me. the sort of couple to be content to hold hands and talk quietly in the garden. #art #supergiant

started sakamoto days last night and i LOVE sakamoto.........but i just really wanted to draw fat sakamoto in serious mode instead of the skinnier mode he gets into when he's exerting himself extra hard #sakamotodays #manga #art #fanart

digital drawings of sakamoto taro from the series "sakamoto days" from the shoulders up. the top left corner has a more simplified drawing of him in black and white, while the larger one is in color and detailed. he is looking serious and rubbing his shoulder, but instead of looking thinner, he is fat.

new ocs! came up with them after listening to a review of a bad romantasy novel about witches... shortly: childhood friends lucia, a little witch girl, and alban, a gentle, magic-less boy, reunite after decades apart--and alban becomes her defender and ally against witch hunters #ocs #drawing

a digital drawing of a large, wide man sitting with a dark-skinned woman in a black dress sitting in front of him. she is caressing his face while he holds her hips. they are both looking at the viewer, their eyes glowing with purple hues and one of the man's hands is covered in green scales and dark nails, with purple smoke creating veins and rising from his hand and arm.

oh man, such a good question!! i've been researching poodles just trying to think of something that would make for a good move (cause i actually really like the fur coat ability.) i think giving it a signature move that changes type based on the type of trim it has would be really fun!

Happy mothers day everyone! Thought in sharing a couple of sketches as well, however this time i feel like i could formally introduce you to Takeru's mom! #mothersday #sketchdump #ocoriginalcharacters #ReshapedInstinct #webtooncanvas

Her name was Mizuki, a lovely woman who used to attend to her personal garden of medicinal herbs. Her smile was as warm as spring's sunshine and her determination strong as a boulder. Always made sure to spread love to everyone around her, specially to her only son.

"i remember mom used to love picking up flowers every saturday. One time she picked me up there very early. I was upset that she woke me up earlier just to pick flowers.... But she promised that day that we'd get ice cream to compensate. I wish i didnt misbehaved that much as a kid, cuz...i'd do anything just to spend time with her one last time.."

Her presence always gave him a sense of peace...
