The saddest thing I've learned about dumped domestic rabbits, is that they are almost never "lost" like a dog that gets out and wanders off. A rabbit will stay where they are dumped. They don't know where to go or what to do. They're probably waiting for their owner to come back and get them.

When we first adopted Wally, he was staying with Jason at his parents' condo. When they came to visit, Jason introduced them to Wally. Jason's dad's name is Walter, and he thought Jason named our bunny after his dad. 🤣 Jason said, "No...it's short for Wallace." I think his dad was disappointed.

My sister-in-law spent many years in two of the largest naval bases, in Coronado and San Diego, and her sons are currently stationed at the naval base in Washington. My brother serves as an Ohio VFW chair. Trump's comments have only further damaged morale among service members. He doesn't care.

Happy Furricane Season! Here's a trick I learned a few years ago. Instead of cutting off mats and taking healthy new fur with it, you can rub cornstarch into the mat, and it will loosen the fur and you can gently pull out the mat without damaging the fur underneath!

I took a Psychology of Sexuality at OSU. We had a lecture on rape, and my professor put up images and asked if they looked like rapists. We quickly picked up the pattern. There's a 20 year gap in the Census records due to a fire. An entire generation of my family is missing. My great grandma's parents were married, had 4 kids, and died. Only the marriage record exists. No other records about my great great grandparents. They both died before 1900, in their 20s.

My great grandparents have two marriage dates...apparently, they divorced sometime in the 1930s after 20 years together, then remarried each other in 1942. He died 4 years later. She lived another 30 years.

Digging through my genealogy, and my 3x great grandfather remarried after his first wife died, and he named their daughter after his first wife - first, middle, and last name. I wonder how his second wife felt about it...or how his kids from his first marriage felt about their half sister's name🤣

My mom always watched Wheel of Fortune. I was watching at my place, and there was a puzzle with just the letter R up. I called her and yelled "BOBBING FOR APPLES" and hung up. After it was solved, she called back laughing and yelled, "Are you kidding me?!" We were a very competitive family.😂
