Next movie of October 2026 was Don't Turn Out the Lights. Wish they had tried harder to make this movie make sense.

Don't Turn Out the Lights poster shows a girls leaning out a window with her fingers over the windowsill and there are creepy gross hands reaching up to her hers from the bottom of the frame.

First two horror movies of the 2026 spoopy season, Starve Acre and 825 Forest Road. The first was blah, and the second was just okay.

Starve Acre poster shows a hare with roots growing out of it and a small hand touching the neck

825 Forest Road shows a creepy mannequin woman with no eyes holding a small house

I finally watched Obsession, and this one is IT. This is the recent horror movie that deserves all the praise and hype. HOLY SHIT. Movies rarely creep me out; this one did it so well. And yeah, Inde Navarrette. BRILLIANT. My only complaint is I wish ppl had given out warnings for the cat stuff.

On the night of the 4th of July around 1 am Jolene woke up on my bed and started crying and flopping around like she couldn’t stand. I rushed her to another room to check her and suddenly she was fine. About an hour later she did it again. Turns out her left kneecap keeps popping out. Poor girl.

I've been rewatching When the Phone Rings, because I remember really enjoying that drama. Well, that's because I blocked out the entire last episode from my brain. WOW. I forgot how fucking wackadoodle that finale was. Oof.

I'm finally getting through Undercover Miss Hong, and I do really enjoy this drama, but I have one complaint. Nobody in the late 90s was using a cell phone ALL THE TIME. Sure, I wasn't living in Korea, so maybe they used them more... but I doubt it. Hardly anyone in the States even had one in 1997.

I just watched the latest videos from EXO and ATEEZ, and I'm sorry, but both looked like they were made by AI. I don't know what is going on, but everyone looked weird and fake in those videos (esp the EXO one). I know I took a year off from kpop, but wtf did I come back to?

I was watching Jolene sleep and enjoying her little dream twitches. Then I just lay my head down and closed my eyes for a bit. When I opened my eyes again, Jolene was full-on Kubrick staring at me. I guess that's a taste of my own medicine. But damn, she scared me good.

In junior high, I was constantly in a Romeo + Juliet chat room. 😂 But I think my real answer was a Buffy forum in the early 00s. I think it was called Band of Buggered, but I'm not 100% sure. I was on there all the time. And from there, I moved to LiveJournal when it started.

I'll say what I said about the last one, if it doesn't have Chloe (esp Max/Chloe) I don't want it. I didn't destroy an entire bay just so those two could be together, only for the series to blue-ball me.

Jolene had to go to the vet today. She probably ate something that made her feel bad. They did X-rays and found a tiny piece of metal in her guts but the vet said it’s not big enough to worry about. She also had high blood sugar so she’s getting a diabetes test.

WAIT. I just canceled my Crunchyroll subscription, and then I saw the second season of the new Trigun started. MILLIE! Also, I saw long-haired Vash in that intro. Goddammit. Looks like I won't be saving money by canceling Crunchyroll for a few months. I'm gonna be on my Mashwood shit again.

I have my second D&D game tonight in my new campaign. I'm always so nervous to roleplay when starting a new game, and this one is streaming, which makes me even more nervous. But I'm going to try hard to overcome that and just have fun. I really love the character I made.

I don't ever do New Year's resolutions, but this year I do want to try harder at a few things: • Posting on here • Cleaning • Crafts (journaling, crochet, nail art, doll photography) • Watching movies • Playing D&D And I did good last year w/ gaming and I want to keep that up.
