I rarely update here anymore, but I figure I'd post an update anyway. If you've been following my other account, you'll know I've been dealing with some health issues.

Finally downloaded by old sketch program I used for my phone again. Later night sketching turned out this deer thing. I kinda like it.

Sorry for lack up updates. There's a lot going on as far as personal life goes that has been taking up quite a bit of my time. Big changes in my life have happened and will continue to happen for the next year. I'll try to post an update on @thatdumbdragon.bsky.social later today.

I watched a video on YT from an artist talking about their art and AI. Human created artwork is imperfect. AI images are computer generated "perfections". That statement hit me in a way I didn't think it would. I strive to make my art as perfect as I can, which is why it's taking me so so long to

The one good thing about digital art is being able to make major changes on the image you are working on and no one would ever know except you. Despite this, I still love working with traditional art, even though I would have had to redo this illustration I'm working on like 3 times. 😂

Starting to plan out art streams ans I just discovered that I also have a Picarto account. Honestly, I'd much rather stream on Picarto than Twitch since Twitch is more for gaming than artwork. Which would you personally like to see?

The mobile version of my website should be fixed now! Being honest, building and maintaining a mobile version has been a challenging. You would think it'd be a lot less difficult, but it's like trying to cram a watermelon of info and graphics into a box the size of an apple and making it work.

🌻 Misora Rae 🌻 @misorarae.bsky.social · 06/05/2026

I came across a website error on mobile that I will fix first thing tomorrow morning. If you click on an item in the shop, the background is incorrectly displaying making it extremely difficult to read. 😑

Now that the website is done, it's time to work on getting streaming platforms, programs, and graphics updated. Thankfully it shouldn't be a massive overhaul and should only take a few days *knocks on wood*. Feel free to follow my Twitch for updates when I do go live! www.twitch.tv/misorarae

Website is way ahead of schedule for the relaunch, so I'm actually hoping to have a soft launch tomorrow (see @thatdumbdragon.bsky.social for the reason)! The shop payments may be locked out until I get the payment part all sorted out, but at least you all get a view of what will be available!

Ah yes, this is the part of setting up a small business (again) that I hate; the legal garble and everyone breathing down your neck wanting to verify you are who you are and that you aren't going to be opening a business to commit crimes.

After playing around with designs for what feels like ages, I finally figured something out, and I -LOVE- how it looks! I love my old website design, but it was just so busy! This is a much more simple design and flows so much better than before. Can't wait to show it off!

Can anyone give me good recommendations for web hosting that aren't ungodly expensive? My service I'm using is wanting $40/month and I just can't justify spending that.

A bust of a Chinese dragon holding orbs with kanji symbols for earth and water. The planet earth and moon are behind the dragon, which corresponds to the orbs the dragon is holding; earth representing Earth and water representing the moon (the moon is commonly associated with water in Astrology). I really want to get enamel pins made, but every turn I take is either Alibaba (I don't want to go that route) or going through a third party, which is going to cost much more. I know a lot of people are reluctant to say who they use, and that's fine, but how do I start? Where do I turn? Help!

Picking back up where I left off has been challenging. Most of what merch I did have I ended up giving away because I thought my bank job -was- going to be my retirement job. Lesson learned! Art prints, stickers, pins, enamel pins, and so much more and only a year to do it!
