I’m very grateful to have gotten the opportunity to work on this, it was truly an amazing experience. I love how Berarde acts and looks in game. Working with the dev was awesome. I’m happy to answer any questions anyone may have if it hasn’t been answered here! Thx for reading!!! 10/10

Anyways, I did also think of Berardes name as well, I got it off some medieval European site. Her name also means strong as a bear, which, is true. She actually is strong as a bear, and would win in a fight against one with just her fists. 9/10

If you also paused at the right time as well, you may find I tried to give her a sword, she did have one in the concept. 8/10 (IGNORE THE FACT I TYPED 8 INSTEAD OF 7 T_T)

Speaking of the hair, if you paused at the right time with the speed paint, you may of noticed I tried to add a ponytail, yes, she was originally going to have that, but I got rid of it because other characters already had ponytails in their hair. 8/10

Mischaracteriser 💥 @mischaracteriser.bsky.social · 11/05/2026

Her hair as well were originally in these like bun like shape as well (which were added to make her look different as well), those were so annoying to draw I hated drawing them, I’m actually so glad the dev decided to get rid of that. 6/10

Mischaracteriser 💥 @mischaracteriser.bsky.social · 11/05/2026

I also thought the brown eyes would make her look different but turns out two other characters have brown eyes as well. She was also originally meant to have a darker skin tone but the dev made it lighter. (Idk why..) 5/10

Mischaracteriser 💥 @mischaracteriser.bsky.social · 11/05/2026

I also decided to add tiny things that would kind of make her look different, she’s the only character in the game (that I know of as of right now) that has orange hair. 4/10

Berarde was inspired by the Knight you can find in the village during the citizens council job, (and plus a hole bunch of webtoon knight designs), 3/10

I played the whole demo, did a bunch of reading from the walkthrough guide and got to work. According to the date of when I drew the original concept for Berarde, the date was the 10th of December (which is probably when Berardes birthday would be.), but yeah, here it is. 2/10

So, I originally found out about Your Crown Is Mine on the 9th of December (my Timezone) from the kickstarter, one of the tiers were you could design and name, which is what I pledged. 1/10
