Hardcore judging anyone playing any Her Last Sight songs on CH/YARG

Miscellany @miscellany.bsky.social · 21/09/2026

Took me this long to realize that the drumkit in the September official video has two bass drums, meaning that Earth Wind and Fire is heavier and better than Falling in Reverse Happy September 21st fellas

Currently looking into de-googlify what I use on a daily. Switched to Zen as far as browsers go, it's pretty freaking neat so far. Love being able to just mod that thing right off the bat to improve performances and usability. Next step, looking into a Google Drive alternative

The day my commissions are completely empty, I'm about to enter a new era of being a full degen at charting. So much I want to chart right now

Ouais 'fin tu reponds à un post qui mentionne/montre Stage Tour, donc faut pas non plus abuser, normal de supposer

000

Miscellany @miscellany.bsky.social · 26/08/2026

Encore une fois, pas comparable. CH c'est juste un lecteur de charts Stage Tour est un jeu qui propose bien + que de juste lire des charts. Je sais de quoi je parle quand meme

100

Miscellany @miscellany.bsky.social · 26/08/2026

It's time to grow up and realize that things can coexist without "you" having to play the new thing. I've made almost 3000 charts for CH/YARG and I'd rather play console GH/Stage Tour probably 80% of the time. thank you for your time, now I can breathe now that my thoughts are out of my body

Miscellany @miscellany.bsky.social · 26/08/2026

Stage Tour and CH/YARG are not comparable in the slightest. Stage Tour is a multi-console video game with modes, gimmicks, collectibles, achievements, and more than I have characters that I can use here CH/YARG are chart emulators. With nothing of substance to bring, besides CH's LBs at best.

Miscellany @miscellany.bsky.social · 26/08/2026

Little (and needed) reminder I chart for CH, YARG and Stage Tour, so what I'm saying is not biased for any of them But for god's sake, the whole "CH exists, why should I bother with Stage Tour? I can play those songs for free" because holy shit, you're stupid if you think this way, genuinely

Miscellany @miscellany.bsky.social · 26/08/2026

What's not mentioned on the link there is that the game alone is gonna be 40USD only. So if you have old hardware laying around or just want to play with a regular controller, it becomes more affordable lol

000

Miscellany @miscellany.bsky.social · 26/08/2026

C'est pas comparable du tout hein

Miscellany @miscellany.bsky.social · 26/08/2026

Can confirm it's not AI made, just uses a similar font

And also, you do need electricity for a bunch of instruments

Miscellany @miscellany.bsky.social · 26/08/2026

I play a real instrument and I can enjoy playing plastic guitar. It's 2026, we gotta stop with the "just learn a real instrument" rebutal lol

Been on a massive charting kick recently and it's been so enjoyable. 14 charts in 5 days lol

040

Miscellany @miscellany.bsky.social · 21/08/2026

Absolutely. Trust me, if it wasn't for years of being used to the same thing, I'd have done this sooner than later lol I also have so many ideas for smaller-scaled packs, if I ever am free from commission purgatory, I'll go ballistic on those

010

Miscellany @miscellany.bsky.social · 21/08/2026

Low-key tempted to experiment with discography packs by tiering songs like a regular GH setlist, rather than the classic "1 tier = 1 album" Album sorting already exists anyway in clone games so why go the easy way when you can be ✨fancy✨

150

Miscellany @miscellany.bsky.social · 18/08/2026

As mentioned in the first post, this is gonna be focused only on Metallica's discography due to the limitations of the game at the moment. We can barely fit the whole discog lol

000

Miscellany @miscellany.bsky.social · 18/08/2026

Forgot to do this last week so here's two little things 3. We are looking into doing secret songs one way or another 👀 4. For open note haters, there MIGHT be a "no open notes on guitar" build for GH M Deluxe

"Just" a little taste of what the game will have 👀

030

Miscellany @miscellany.bsky.social · 03/08/2026

I am 11 songs away from completing my 3000th chart project, but I'm still about 50 charts away from even reaching that milestone. Gotta find a way to make it last lol

030

Miscellany @miscellany.bsky.social · 03/08/2026

2. There are a few things we want to achieve beyond me just charting the whole discography. One of the key goals for this project down the line is to offer custom animations for EVERY songs too. It's going to be a post-charting task of course; but it'll make the experience even crazier.

This happened to my wife a lot for a looooong while; easily a period of a year or two. Don't let this discourage you, keep the grind alive and you'll get back on an upward curve, 100%. Hiding the follower count though is a good idea; same with viewer count and sub points, I've noticed

1. Obviously, the project will contain Metallica's entire STUDIO discography, which includes albums from Kill 'Em All to 72 Seasons, but also some niche songs released outside of albums like "We Did It Again", "You Really Got Me", AND some live exclusive songs like "- Human" or "The Other New Song".

For the few people here that follow me, I'll make BlueSky THE platform to drop some info about Guitar Hero Metallica Deluxe before we fully launch the demo in a month or two from now. I'll drop 1 piece of info once a week, something that will profoundly get you hyped, in case you missed the reveal👀
