I've yet to check under regular dosbox to see if this is a shared issue with the emulator as a whole, I have seen some recent gameplay floating arround though so maybe it's just that, a emulator issue

oh that's oke! I already have played it myself and got up to 3-1, but I'm kinda like stuck there since on dosbox-pure (that's the emulator I've been using to play it) there's a hard crash after the first attack pattern of the boss there, meaning I cannot progress further-

how did you mess with the code for moonchild himself? I've been looking to reinterpret the code in game maker script to see if I could somehow do a "game maker port/rewrite" of the game as a coding exercise and i cannot for the life of me find where his code is stored, hoi's I can find but not his

chrome kept crashing while trying to post the next 3 :( I guess that's a sign for me to doze off, I need to eeep aaaa you get the point! so much for only having two games to work off from and I can't even finish the first one because of a game breaking crash on 3-1, fun :)

another of the firsts if I'm not mistaken is this SMB1-style sprite! wuv the silly side angle, it makes him look very very goofy if I'm misremembering, then the order doesn't matter anyways, I may as well post them out of order xP too busy gushing over him that I can't think straight

one of the many firsts I ever gotten was this silly little sketch of him! for being the first one I still really really wuv it alot, it does so much to capture his silliness!!

MisaeRockabout!'s Eol-gush-drain @misaerockabout.bsky.social · 27/03/2026

OK so...uhm... where to start? oh I guess by making a lil thread of eol pieces I've gotten! I'm the only reason he has fanart anyways haha

please ignore everything before this post, I used to take this bluesky account as a joke practically, so I just posted and reposted whatever, from now on I'm using this account to gush about my fictional crush, if you don't mind!

MisaeRockabout!'s Eol-gush-drain @misaerockabout.bsky.social · 27/03/2026

so, NEW PLAN for this account, I'm gonna keep gushing eol here more and more, it'd be a more positive use for it than lambast a fandom on the daily that only had TWO PEOPLE that were bad actors towards me...

Today is March 10th, a day where we all celebrate one of the most famous protagonists in gaming, quite possibly one of the best-known Italians in fiction, full-stop; that's right, Giana from The Great Giana Sisters (1987, Commodore 64/Amiga/Atari ST).
