Not really, I guess the sessions themselves act as tests but it’s also not anything super complicated. Usually you can see how it’s shaking out as you’re mixing it and it’s a matter of “stop adding water now”

Usually it’s annoying at worst - definitely at the point now where it’s pretty easy to anticipate level of effort for cleanup so I can dress accordingly. Most of the time it can go in the laundry (or for silicone / latex, be hand-washedz) without too much hassle

The first slime-adjacent experience was cake batter, I think, and it was incredible and remains one of my favorite substances. The slime mixtures are pretty good as well when the ratio is right but they don’t have the same stickiness/coverage which downgrades them a bit for me.

“You Can’t Do That On TV”, and “What Would You Do” later on, for WAM. Wizard of Oz and live action Alice in Wonderland for animal costumes. The 80s/90s also seemed to have no shortage of random sitcoms with people dressed as animals or ending up messy as a punchline 😵‍💫

I remember having an argument in early grade school where two of the mean kids were saying they’d hit me with a (nonexistent, hypothetical) pie because I guess when you’re six you can’t think of anything better and even then I knew there was something there
