I like thinking about bratlock interacting with baby susato. I like to think hm is oddly good with preteen/teenage kids (like the baker street irregulars) but has no idea how to handle a toddler/infant

now that the announcements are out and still developing, i also want to address something real quick since this matter is really serious to me. it felt wrong to just shrug this all off.

i love holmes’ mystery and charm and i think that’s why i love thinking about mktb meeting his family (or at least knowing about them). letting this one (1) particular person in on his personal life is so intimate and cute to me ..

the only issue I’ve had in writing this is trying to imagine how sherlock holmes would text 😭 bratlock specifically I think is a utilitarian texter, while older holmes would add in an emoji or sticker

on some level I’m glad TGAA doesn’t nail down a specific year outside of “very late 19th century” as anytime the year 2009 is mentioned I think about persona 3 without fail

Here's my piece for @verysincerelyyours.bsky.social . The book's TERRIFIC, and Minh and Sher did an amazing job pulling it together. Strongly recommend checking out the leftovers sale on now. If you're in Toronto, you can also find a copy in the ACD Collection at the public library (!!!cool)

A digital illustration of Sherlock Holmes and John Watson in front of the 221b fireplace. Holmes is taking smoked tobacco samples from a pipe; Watson is "helpfully" contributing to the work by smoking more. Holmes has his feet up in Watson's lap while he works.
