Apparently I missed Batman Day
Two-panel comic strip: in the first panel, Satan holds a telephone receiver as he says “Hello… it’s me, Satan.” In the second panel, Batman, also holding a receiver, says “If this is your idea of a joke, your humour is sadly misplaced! Good day, Sir!”

Bonus points if you can spot the quotation from Hebrews 12:2
An elderly woman pushing a shopping trolley up a West London street and wearing a suit covered in biblical quotes and different ways of referring to Jesus, e.g. Messiah, Son of God, Holy One, etc.

I tried @sweetlosicecream.bsky.social’s Orange Julius recipe and, Madeleine-like, it took me back to the Esquimau ices I liked to get when we holidayed in France when I was a boy. I didn’t trust the structural integrity of my homemade cones. Sorry about the visual impact.

I was looking at the Wikipedia entry for actor Peter Boyle (1935-2006) and found out that amongst many other things, he appeared in three completely unrelated films titled Joe (1970), Crazy Joe (1974) and Tail Gunner Joe (1977)

This photograph of me was taken about thirty years ago in Stockholm and I don’t really know what else to tell you
A young man with a Union Jack somehow hanging from his neck is sitting by a desk holding a white stuffed toy horse. Several papers, folders and books are strewn over the desk, along with a wooden Dalecarlia horse and a small globe

It’s absolutely baffling how people in a space like Bluesky, where you would hope most users agree that bodyshaming of all stripes should be out of bounds, seem happy to comment on Greg Bovino and Joe Rogan’s height. Why is that okay? Would they be doing it if these were persons with dwarfism?
A series of posts on Bluesky making derogatory comments about Greg Bovino and Joe Rogan based on their height rather than the fact that they support a fascist regime

Why isn’t this one of our main tourist attractions

The fact that Liberace and Michael Jackson were actually roommates, albeit for a short time, in Trump Tower is certainly stranger than even fiction would have it.”
