So I have this sketchbook that claims to be for watercolor, but I just don't like this paper at all. And I thought, that it would be a cool way to sketch something without any pressure of perfectionism. So here is a random mushroom sketch from a reference!! #art #traditionalart #sketch

Watercolor portrait of my character Lin!! This one took four attempts, but I think it was worth it! I love the result, and even more I love the feeling of improvement from an awful first attempt to the final version!! #art #traditionalart #watercolor

Ink sketches for my WIP Little Fairies. Part 4! I wanted to convey the cozy feel of Efa's home planet and hometown, and I found some good references for this. I think that this page spread was a success!!! #art #traditionalart #sketch #oc

Reference sheet for Sally!! The final one! I absolutely adore Sally, and their new design is probably my favorite (even though it is really hard to choose favorites!) Now I can finally fully go into Art Fight mod :) #art #originalcharacter #oc

My first gouache plein air sketch! I said it before, and I'll say it again: I don't understand gouache. Sometimes I do something, and it turns out horrible, and sometimes I do something, and it is suddenly decent. Some kind of gouache magic... #art #traditionalart #gouache #pleinair

Reference sheet for Lin! Of my four main characters, he probably has the most consistent design throughout years, so I didn't change it as much as with the others. But with Lin, I find it really interesting trying to get his poses and body language right. #art #originalcharacter #oc

For the last few months, I had a big project to redesign all four of my main characters. (Which was really hard, because even though I wasn't satisfied with the previous designs, I grew attached to them for some reason) As always we are starting with Efa! #art #originalcharacter #oc

Part 21: Drawing little sketches of characters from my WIP Little Fairies Lately, I've been going through a bit of a slump. It's hard to draw consistently, but luckily, having something to draw that is easy and pre-planned like this really helps! #art #traditionalart #sketch #originalcharacter

I remember that I said that I am interested in learning to work with gouache. I also remember that I said it a year ago, or something like that. So... It took me long enough... But here I am, with another gouache study!! #art #traditionalart #gouache

Ink sketches for my WIP Little Fairies. Part 2 I started this sketch series to have a safe space where I can draw the same things over and over, and maybe practice some poses and expressions. And right now I pretty much just draw my main character Efa :) #art #traditionalart #sketch #oc

Here is Part 1 of drawing ink sketches for my WIP Little Fairies! I tried to sketch with diluted ink, and loved it! It feels fast and I don't need to spend time mixing colors. And also every brush stroke is permanent :) So there is no point in being perfectionist! #art #traditionalart #sketch
