Reading some of these HDG stories really is difficult at times.... not cus they are bad or anything just that they make me realize just how many things I need in my life that are either very unlikely to happen or just straight up won't happen. This is making me very sad and I wanna cry.

tbh i think the thing that makes me feel the most out of place in a decent few programming circles is this idea a lot of people have that you would only ever make something if your goal is to "make it big" and become a big successful company. that business brained mindset makes me uncomfortable

I really wish I knew how to get over my social anxiety so I could learn how to make friends who are close enough that I could spend time with them in person... maybe that would help me not feel so lonely.
