yes i'm clearly ross, as you can tell by my profile pic and the links in my profile which bear my full name. did you actually read the 'copied lede' they're referring to? your screenshot doesn't actually show any alleged plagiarism, it's just ross's tweets defending himself

I can first hand say that in hunter’s case, he has a very petty personal bone to pick with ross, which he actually misrepresented here. A lot of the people who are egging this on just dont like ross for reasons as trivial as baseball fandom, it’s just a witch hunt

Additionally, the hyperlinked pieces were just straight news articles, while ross’s were opinion columns. Hes not stealing their scoops - theres no scoop to even steal - hes opining on facts they wrote about, which anyone couldve sooner gotten off google. They dont own, nor did they unearth the info

Because he didn’t plagiarize, he linked to the other writers’ articles and credited them by name, while using facts that are NOT the reporting of said writers, theyre publicly available facts. One of them even deleted his tweets about it and has said he’s satisfied with how ross cited him
