Yeah! IMO after some amount of chatting with each other, having demonstrated ability to listen and react, blocking without first saying what's wrong is generally a rude thing to do. Only justified for truly inappropriate behavior. I don't feel treated like a real person when it's like that, y'know?😗

It's rude. I'm engaging with them, explaining things to them they've expressed interest in hearing about, and suddenly my next message doesn't go through. Then their avatar gets blurry. 😑 Instead of talking to me like I'm a person, telling me they're not interested anymore, just abruptly blocked. 🤷‍♀️

Whoa! Now that's what the quartermaster loves to see. A BattleMech fully intact except for the cockpit, allowing it to be salvaged in one piece. 🤑 Lethal damage doesn't automatically mean the pilot died, depending on RNG and medbay quality. But they sure aren't gonna be piloting mechs for a while! 🛌

BattleTech (PC) screen capture, showing an enemy Assault Mech (pirate faction) collapsing from taking a hit that destroyed the cockpit, thereby taking the pilot out o the battle. Very lucky for the attacker!

I know, right? Once the cockpit internals can be seen from outside like looking through sheets of Swiss cheese, the eject button ought to be flashing red to remind pilots of its existence. 🚨 C'mon, BattleMech cockpit dashboard manufacturers, get working on that feature! 😝 Appreciate you relating. 😊

So this Elite Outrider piloting a Banshee ran behind cover, outside my sensor range, after I let a triple alpha strike barrage down on them. Next turn they re-emerge looking like this. 😮 You're missing two arms and a side torso, your head/cockpit is at 1/61 integrity. Ejecting would've been smart! 🤦‍♀️

BattleTech (PC) screenshot.
Showing an enemy BattleMech, a Banshee Assault Mech, piloted by an Elite Outrider of the Pirate Faction. It is heavily damaged, missing two arms and a side torso, only around half of its weapons remaining operable, and most strikingly, the head is at 1/16 internal structure integrity with 0/45 armor, meaning the cockpit will be destroyed the next time anything hits the mecha's head at all. At this point, you'd expect most pilots to eject or to already have ejected to safety.
(Destroyed weapons are one Medium Laser and one Particle Projector Cannon, damaged weapon is a Small Laser, undamaged weapons are also one Medium Laser and one Particle Projector Cannon. The center torso is also showing signs of near-depleted armor plating.)

The downside of pissing off the Pirate Organization is not insignificant; losing out on black markets ripe with rare equipment and mech parts. I'll just have to salvage valuable parts from the battlefield instead, and this is where my reputation will be helpful to negotiate first salvaging rights. 🧾

Planning to increase my mercenary corps reputation with all the major Succession War houses so they'll trust me with the most high-ranking missions. Picked pirates as my enemy, since increasing rep with one faction generally means losing rep with another. Pirates beef with anyone, so that works out!

Yeah! There were like 4 boss stages, as I recall, all of which were of the "eliminate all enemies" type but with one extra strong mech that's one of the rogue lance members you swore to hunt down as part of your vendetta. ☠️ But that's pretty much it. You do get a victory screen at the end, too! ✌️

I think enemy AI plays smarter, makes fewer mistakes, etc. Tighter timing, more hazardous stage effects. Some of those special effects can really throw off your aim! 😵‍💫 At least the punishment for hitting the button at the wrong time isn't bad, it prevents button mashing but doesn't hurt directly. 😌

I fully cleared Witch's Rhythm Puzzle! 🧙‍♀️ Normal Mode, Hard Mode and Nonstop Mode, to unlock all the layers in Gallery Mode. 👀 It's fun, but pretty hard! The time pressure causes me to make mistakes. But still beatable, as I have proven. 😊 There is an Easy Mode I haven't tried, so that's an option. 👍

Is there a performance difference between having the new Firefox "Nova" look toggled on and off? This might be the deciding factor for me, even if the difference is small. 🤔 I know you can disable it by going to about:config and setting browser.nova.enabled to false (re-enable by setting to true). ⚙️

Oh right, about Witch's Rhythm Puzzle lore. Ran outta space in previous post. 😅 So this tower is full of witches (including yourself), I guess you encounter one per floor. You fling magic spells at each other's clothes to remove them. 🎇 First one to become fully undressed loses. "Uwaa, I'm naked!" 😫

I've started playing Witch's Rhythm Puzzle, another game I got from Nutaku. 🎮 So far, it seems pretty interesting! You don't want to hit every beat all the time but focus on beats where you need squares or rectangles to drop. Think of it like a Tetris Attack hybrid. ▫️ Cute and sexy pixel art, too! 😍

Witch's Rhythm Puzzle (PC, Nutaku version) screenshot.
Showing Ibis, the witch on the left and Drove, the dancer on the right. Ibis is the main character and Drove is the fourth NPC you encounter in the tower of witches.
Ibis is saying: "This just keeps sounding more and more like some kind of weird porn game..."
There is an on-screen prompt to press the X key in the lower right, which skips the dialogue scenes.
