New Video! Metroid Ravenous wasn't something I expected, but I'm so glad it's real. In this video I give some of my thoughts on 2D and 3D Metroid, as well as some detailed information about Metroid Ravenous' developers Mercury Steam, and of course the trailer too! www.youtube.com/watc...

Has anyone else had issues with VTS just randomly closing on their phone? It's been happening for a few weeks now but it's steadily happening more and more. 🤔 Mostly during stream. I'm not getting an overheating warning either.

The Resident Evil movie blew me away. Where you won't find something rooted in the established canon, it takes you through the lenses of the average person. The survival horror is harsh, and the campy humor lands every single time. It feels real and really fits thematically with the original.

Just got outta Coyote vs Acme, awesome production from start to finish. Can't believe it was almost canned. Also Elmer Fudd's cameo coming in an absolutely wild time in the production.

With the wide praise of of Fortune's Weave one of the main praises I have for it so far is it being a Fire Emblem game where Nintendo could actually implement consistent character/environment style in the exploration segments, AND keep anti-aliasing.

Tonight decided to wind down from gaming (mostly) to watch House (1977), a very strange and trippy horror movie from asian cinema that achieved cult status in the last few decades. One thing that I really think a lot of modern cinema misses out on is great camera work which is omnipresent here.

And just like that, Starfox Adventures is finished. A strange entry in the series that somehow stands strong as an adventure game not unlike Zelda. There are a few strange design decisions, and the writing feels kinda Saturday Morning Cartoon. Still an entry worth visiting and shouldn't be passed.

I'm not done yet but Pacific Drive has surprised me how much I've gotten locked in this year. Its reminds me a lot of Darkwood, that sells itself on the atmosphere and environmental dangers, vs jumpscares. The urgency of the game is making it on time. And coming back again for the next run.

Unless Sony reverses course there is literally no way i'm getting a PS6. Rejection of physical media, horrible awful decision that cost jobs and cans projects, consistent anti consumer practices. None of the franchises I care about are even exclusive to them anymore lol, like who needs them?

I think out of anything people deserve to be mad at Nintendo for is partnering with Koei on Hyrule Warriors Age of Calamity and selling it as "hey we fixed it now! please pay us for the fix!". Fuck outta here KT.

Saturday I finished Paper Mario TTYD. I mean its TTYD what is there to say. A lot actually because Nintendo made quite a few quality of life improvements to the Switch edition. This needs to be played if you like the original.

This is def a public statement to make less than a week from a game's showcase at Tokyo Game Show. Sony ain't exactly making a good case for itself with publishers OR consumers.

Playing Planet of Lana reminds me how much I love these atmospheric 2D puzzle platformers. I don't know how to put it but it also feels like you really made it through a long journey when really it was less than 8 hours everytime. I still remember being blown away by The Missing.

Late last night I finished Planet of Lana, a puzzle platformer following a young child as their village is invaded by robots. I was honestly surprised a 3rd party title looks so good on the original Switch, very emotional story, very intuitive puzzle solving, beautiful ost. Can't wait for the sequel
