Rename Lake Ontario, and the mnemonic goes from HOMES to SHAME. The irony aside, the coincidence isn’t the argument. A map’s value was never neutrality; it was durability. Change the name for a reason that outlasts your term.

Hot take on "Best PHP Framework": if you're a professional dev making a living from PHP, the best framework is whichever one pays your bills. If you're a hobbyist, it's whichever one you enjoy, and that gets stuff done. #laravel #symfony #cakephp #slim #whatever-makes-you-happy

The fact that the Odyssey is an EPIC MYTH that includes Sirens and Cyclops…casting a Black woman in the role of a MYTHICAL CHARACTER is hardly the place to argue about “validity” 🤦🏾‍♂️ Just say you don’t like Black women!

I like how the Claude interface lets you select part of a response and then reply to that specifically on you next turn. Nice touch.

What if AI isn’t the executor of tasks—but the layer that interprets human intent, routes it to the tools we’ve already built, and returns the result? What if AI is the compiler AND runtime of human language?

If folks ever saw the things my computers and I talk about…I might get committed…again.

Because I used to think that a validated reality was the same thing as a shared one. But sometimes, trying to be as close as you possibly can is exactly why you don’t see the same things.

If you keep walking…you can clumsily stumble into a place where your sense of the world is no longer predicated on anyone else seeing it the same way you do.

Makes me wonder how often proximity gets mistaken for actual understanding. Curious how others read that scene.

The payoff has definitely been the main character’s brief encounter with his estranged mother… it’s one of those moments where you realize how little shared language there can be between people who are supposed to be connected. 🤓
