I’m working on setting up the ability to make individually programmable RGB custom lithophane con badges with NFC and rechargeable batteries. The first prototype I’m hoping to start construction of tonight and I’m hoping to be able to start taking making these for people in February.

If you open a spectrum analyzer while watching a CRT their will be a massive spike at around 15740 HZ. Because this frequency is within what some people can hear the deflection yoke sounds like it’s ringing. This is the horizontal refresh rate of the CRT.

This remote is from 1989 and is a fully learning programmable. These 38 buttons are like macros and can be set to anything. I have it setup to a modern Roku. This thing feels fantastic to hold and use. These routinely sell for 15-20 bucks on eBay. This makes all modern remotes feel like trash.

I’m also currently working on saving up for negative lab pro because it does a much better job at reversing negatives once they’ve been scanned. I’m hoping that very soon. I’m gonna be able to come back online with much higher quality film photos for y’all to view.

I apologize for the delay in me posting more FCL photos from last year. I unfortunately have had dust to get embedded in some of my film, and I have to rewash most of it. I’m currently working at the moment on moving out with my girlfriend and will hopefully have a less dusty scanning environment.

I mean we put up with ads in our streamed movies now. As long as you don’t miss more then 5 minutes, the movie viewing experience isn’t any worse then streaming with ads. Just lower resolution

I would argue that a few skips here and their could be a fun once and a while novelty. Definitely isn’t something for critical viewing tho. Theirs something nice about knowing that your disk is it’s own unique viewing experience just like it’s vinyl LP roots.
