Hahahaha, truly a rabbit hole, I was going to something else, and then somehow ended up making this. Right now, it basically just works like, painting a mask over a mesh using a ray. And there's basic pixel check to check how much of the mask has been converted from black to white.

Made some grass following some tutorial for my froggy game :) But for some reason, it kinda stutter lags when I first load in the first grass. I assume it's got to do with shader compilation and there's some sort of way to compile the shader beforehand. #godot #indiegame #gamedev

I wish I could work on it more as well. ;( I wish I knew more so I could solve problems faster so I could get more things done in the small amount of time. I wish I could focus more often. I can’t just lock in when I want to. I wish money/future wasn’t something that I’m constantly thinking about.
