PRIMALS concert ✌️

Accidentally attended an ironmouse concert. It was super fun!

Just before the ironmouse concert began. All of the screens on the main stage are dark, and the lighting in the room has changed to be hot pink.

The start of the ironmouse concert. She is standing in the golden saucer while talking to the crowd.

Ironmouse mid-song. All of the spotlights are red, with half facing down and half facing up, creating a cool effect in front of the stage.

Ironmouse during the third and last song of the concert. The lights in the rafters are purple, and the lights at the bottom of the stage are light blue. A person is holding up a blue light stick in each hand.

And then we began our stakeout to get good spots for the PRIMALS concert. I did not intend to go to the lyrics panel but the part I did see was super fun. Also ironmouse was there, hi ironmouse

The stage at the lyrics panel. One screen has a close up of Koji looking behind him. Another screen, the one Koji is looking at, has a PowerPoint slide that includes a heavily censored screenshot of the Wikipedia page for BDSM.

The lyrics panel, but now ironmouse is here on a large, vertical screen that has been wheeled out next to the desk in center stage.

A photo of one of the PowerPoint slides from the lyrics panel. The title and subtitle read: Hey Dude, Where Are My Lyrics? It's Complicated...

Bullet points follow: Team BUSY, Enjoy SPECULATION, No SPOILERZ, F*** You Koji Fox, All of the ABOVE

One of the photo ops was to take a picture w Graha in a gondola like the MSQ scene. The line was BASICALLY always capped. I never got my sticker :( Cute set tho

The graha tia gondola photo op. A graha tia standee is placed in a makeshift gondola made out of couches and wooden(?) barriers. The backdrop and floor makes it seem like you are in the rivers of Living Memory.

So many staff members were also filming LOLLL AGAIN. BEST ACTIVITY. Every single round was so fun to watch. Most of the other activities were just carnival games or photo ops. Pls more stuff like this 🙏

There was also another green bunny guy and some disco frogs. Again, the best activity at fan fest.

A dancing green cosplayer posing in front of the giant dancing green statue. They are both pointing up and to the right like a typical "disco" dance move. The cosplayer has on very little clothing: a black (fake?) leather jacket, a black chest harness, black briefs, and black thigh-high high-heeled boots.

One of the frog cosplayers posing next to the dancing green cosplayer. The frog cosplayer is wearing a black afro wig, a frog mask, a sparkly, golden, long-sleeved, button-up shirt, and black boot-cut pants. There is another frog cosplayer on the other side of dancing green, but they are obscured by a person's head in the picture.

The dancing green cosplayer and both frog cosplayers waiting for the activity to start. One of the frog cosplayers is also holding two green light sticks, one in each hand.

It him. The green bunny guy.

A very tall (nearly reaching the ceiling) model/statue of the FFXIV character Dancing Green, transformed and ready for battle. In front of the statue is a mock dance floor split into squares.

The crystalline conflict activity was the only line that wasn't capped (and that gave a sticker) when we got there on day 2, so we did that. Our team won 😎

A large aetheryte crystal, much taller than a person, like the kind used in crystalline conflict matches, against a backdrop depicting the Palaistra crystalline conflict map.

The rules for the activity on a banner. It reads: Crystalline Conflict Palaistra Challenge. Complete this activity and receive one (1) sticker! 2 teams (5v5). One player from each team rolls a die: both dice match red -> crystal moves toward blue goal. Both match blue -> crystal moves toward red goal. Colors don't match -> crystal does not move. After each roll, new players from each team step up and roll again. The crystal can be pushed back if the opposing team scores on the next roll. The first team to push the crystal into the opponent's goal or that has the lead after 3 minutes wins.

The end state of the activity that I played. The "crystal", which is a large blue cone on wheels, is closer to the blue team's goal on a mock up of the Palaistra crystal pathway. Red wins! An inflatable die with a red or blue square on each face is in the background, which was used to play the activity.

Day two! More misc convention floor pictures. The dancing green activity was the best, and also had the most enjoyable line. I just had my light stick out the entire time.

A view of the main stage from the back of the room during the crystalline conflict regional championship. A few people are wandering around, and there are many empty seats at the back.

A view of the convention floor from the line of one of the activities. The big "XIV" photo spot is visible near the back, and the location names for "solution nine" and "living memory" are hanging from the rafters on either side of the image.

A view of the dancing green activity, including the line up. The line, on the left, is packed full, and many people have green light sticks out. A location placard for "the arcadion" is hanging from the rafters. A large dancing green statue is in the background, on the right, where the activity takes place.

Second try at the merch shop was more successful. Yan was sold out for the con :( but I had 3 successful blind box pulls (though I would have been happy with any of the choices as long as I didn't get any dupes) Also bought light sticks for the PRIMALS concert and a chocobo onesie!

The merchandise menu at fan fest 2026, spread across three large posters. About 15 items have been marked as "Sold Out".

The Trembling Plush Yan on the merchandise menu poster with a large blue "SOLD OUT" sticker across it

Three unopened FFXIV plush finger puppet blind boxes arranged in a pyramid formation.

The three finger puppet plushies I got from my blind boxes: the bomb, the shark, and the serpent. They are all still in plastic wrapping.

Stayed in the same spot for the dev panel! I'm skeptical of the new evolved mode changes, but it's still early so I'll wait and see...

I didn't intend to watch the game show panel, but it was quite fun! The AC was blasting right over where I was sitting so I got cold :( lol

My view from the audience for 'The Roulette Game Show'.

A picture taken during the game show panel where the players had to recreate the living memory ice cream from memory. Some of the screens are showing a hint: Graha and Krile holding the ice cream, but the ice cream is blurred out/censored.

Misc pictures of the activity areas: Solution Nine!

A banner hanging from the convention hall rafters that says "Solution Nine" in the typical gold embossed FFXIV text

Oh I forgot these pics of the outside. I only took a pic of the Graha door but they had different characters on each of the doors.

We had to stand in the back of the overflow for the keynote :( I'm over it, but I wish Square Enix would book larger rooms for the things EVERYBODY will want to see!

A photo from the back of the overflow area at FFXIV fan fest 2026. A crowd of people are sitting in front of 3 screens counting down to the keynote. The timer is at 21 seconds.

This message being sent out by the Fanfest app when there are already no seats lmao. Small indie company things

A meme where I replaced some of the text to convey how I am upset when I learn something won't ship to me in Canada.
