Cuz of lore reasons, I gotta increase the amount of women in my #OC lineup. Here's a #sketch of those new characters: Lucky Valerie!

I kinda hate her but she became a bit of a meme on the server, so I decided she should be rendered. #oc #art

New OC based on an old scrapped Gale design. Don't have a name yet, all I know is that she's now the CEO of Uniq Solutions Inc. #OC #sketch

Some old experimental sketches on some of my OCs. Trying out a little bit more "r e a l i s m." Failed on that front but still ended up with something promising. #sketch #oc

Varlene Gale #conceptart complete and rendered, with both her outfits and her weapons. I am afraid of her... #oc #art

Varlene Gale has pale platinum hair and steely grey eyes. Here we have her in her two outfit concepts: the "Executioner" (a red corset and skirt with an open black trenchcoat and rolled up sleeves) and the "Black Rose" (a black backless dress with tactical belts). She also has a hand tattoo of thorns and a tribal Nevurra flower tattoo on her right bicep. On her gun, the "Winter Carbine" is shrouded and wrapped with a blade sheathed to the side of it.

FYI: Any OC I pin on my profile is likely getting another art piece soon. I think I'll also repost their previous art on the day I'm posting the new one too before I move on to the next OC

Perhaps one of my more... known #originalcharacter s: Canora Glass. You'll see a lot more of her, I'm sure. <3 <3 #oc #art

Oh no! You found the shrooms! Thanks for noticing. This piece is actually why I was gone for months

Commissioned cover art for a friend! (ArchStanton who's not on Bsky) Boy did this take a while. #art #fantasy #dragon #coverart #commission

A lone knight marches towards a dimly lit castle protected by a lightning quick dragon. Behind the crimson pink clouds lies a sky lit with stars and aurora.

Patched to correct the boxes! Can't believe no one noticed it including me

Ye, every time I draw the jet I have a moment of dread that I have to do that livery again. Thank you! And happy holidays!

Oh wow! A downsized replica of the Sapphrica Aircocchet? You shouldn't have! #merrychristmas #originalcharacter #art

Oh! I was thinking of opening a Patreon too and haven't even considered having high quality image downloads as a reward. That's a good idea!

Mintagen @mintagen.bsky.social · 02/11/2025

Thanks! Yeah, I thought if I simplify my render style I could do a background quickly. I was wrong lol. Still glad I did it tho

Damn, that sucks. Sorry that all happened to you. Don't know if this advice helps, but when I have a style crisis, what helped me is to remember to move forward for yourself and not anyone else. It's your art, you are in control. I believe you can improve and find more excuses to love arting.

2024(ish) #art pile round 12: Kadren Sprint without his mask. I love my edgy bois. This is also the "last" one in the pile, so real posts from here on? Ahhh, probably not. #originalcharacter

Mintagen @mintagen.bsky.social · 14/03/2025

Oh. OH. More Kadren Sprint #sketches and it's not even round 12 yet. Oh it's 2023 so doesn't count? This actually was the inspiration behind me posting the 24 pile. Stuff like this would've been lost to time, like tears in... like tears in a sketch pile. #oc #originalcharacter

Mintagen @mintagen.bsky.social · 14/03/2025

2024 #art pile round 11: Kadren Sprint. I've been obsessing over this #oc for a while now. Which explains why the last few of the pile are all sketches of him. Yes, we are drawing to an end with the pile (pun intended)

Mintagen @mintagen.bsky.social · 05/03/2025

2024 #art pile round 10: Yeah we got a second one today cuz it's this guy again. #oc

2024 #art pile round 9: Yup Nillen again. But this time they're PISSED. #oc

040

Mintagen @mintagen.bsky.social · 03/03/2025

Oh uh. Depth of Field. Basically far away objects become blurrier than objects closer to you, mimicking how your eyes or a camera lens would focus on things. The background looks blurrier from it being scaled down, giving it the same effect

Mintagen @mintagen.bsky.social · 03/03/2025

Looks alright to me. In a way it gives a DOF kind-of effect and separates the sprites from the background

Mintagen @mintagen.bsky.social · 03/03/2025

2024 #art pile round 8: Nillen Ekarrei!!!! Probably my most favorite #oc Got a lot of this guy in the pile, just a heads up. They're just so pouty I love them

Mintagen @mintagen.bsky.social · 28/02/2025

Don't think that the 2024 pile is slowing down. We still got left in the tank. Despite not sharing any new art last year I sketched A LOT. I'm not even planning on sharing absolutely everything because there are some sketches I'm already working on rendering.
