This album was my first ever jazz vinyl purchase! Before Jamey Aebersold started Double-Time Records, he used to sell jazz via a fantastic mail-order catalog, Double Time Jazz. And he would set up tables for sales at his regional gigs, which is where I bought this intriguing Monk set.
