That's right! On Instagram I did a challenge asking people what to draw and this was the result ＼(^-^)／ #doodle #sketch

More icon-style doodles! I do these to practice and warm up my hand before making more detailed drawings. Since it's a new habit, I have several of these icons. #hsr #honkaistarrail #danheng #sunday #fanart #skecth

A sketch-style icon of Katherine! I want to do something in color very soon. #oc #sketch #doodle

Ah... I'm such a huge Frederick fan. I don't think I've mentioned it anywhere. This is kind of embarrassing, isn't it? So, I decided to have Katherine as a shipper with one of my comfort zone characters. How original...

Within the aforementioned, I've already made a couple of sketches about it. I won't deny that I feel exposed showing all this stuff, hahaha. #oc #ocxcanon #idv #idvoc #sketch #doodle

More sketches! This is Katherine Russell, known as "the maid". For some time now, I've been thinking about her abilities and her past before the mansion. I'm excited to share it, but I want to wait until I have some more striking artwork of Katherine. #sketch #oc #ocdesing

Lately I've been getting more involved with the IDV fandom. I'd been putting off my chance to create a character for that world, haha. Taking advantage of my creative mood, I managed to make an OC for IDV. At least that's what I tried #oc #ocdesing #wip #sketch

During the month, I've been seeing some versions of Flins as a triton/mermaid 🧜‍♂️. I found it curious to see it like that near Thalyssa. Additional note: I don't ship Thalyssa with anyone (yet haha) #genshinoc #oc #doodle #sketch #genshinimpactoc

something like this 👇🏼 Thalyssa // Désrien

Although Désrien and Thalyssa's jewelry looks the same, it's supposed to look like this. Perhaps when I finally get around to painting, the differences will be noticeable. #genshinoc #oc #doodle #sketch #genshinimpactoc

Although it may not seem like it, I have been doing a little drawing. #genshinoc #oc #doodle #sketch #genshinimpactoc

Thalyssa's blood works the same way. Those of her kind, upon dying, had their decomposing bodies revitalize the ancient sea. Now, as a human, she retains a degree of that ability. Her blood can be either healing or poisonous, depending on the fate of the one who consumes it.

000

Minen ★ Digital artist @minenac.bsky.social · 26/02/2026

Regarding her blood: The legend about how eating mermaid flesh grants immortality is quite popular. I really like Rumiko Takahashi's history, "Mermaid Forest." I love how she handles the themes of mermaid flesh and blood, immortality, and the "failed."

Minen ★ Digital artist @minenac.bsky.social · 26/02/2026

As I said, she inspired me with sirens (who are deceived by their voices, creating an enchantment). Thalyssa has a similar ability, but it only works on people with weak willpower or who are mentally unstable. She doesn't need to sing to use this ability. Simply speaking with intent is dangerous.

100

Minen ★ Digital artist @minenac.bsky.social · 26/02/2026

Thalyssa's most "powerful" abilities are voice manipulation (like mind control) and the poisonous properties of her blood (well, there's a catch). These are separate abilities from her electro-vision. By the way, she's a spear user, but she's not very good with it.

100

Minen ★ Digital artist @minenac.bsky.social · 26/02/2026

Another interesting fact about Thalyssa: The other day a video popped up about the canon "power levels" used in Genshin. I was thinking... and I think Thalyssa is actually quite weak in this power ranking.

100

Minen ★ Digital artist @minenac.bsky.social · 26/02/2026

Thalyssa makes you travel. Although, when she gets tired of it, she can settle down for a few decades in one place (in this case, Nod Krai, but long before that she was in Fontaine!). 🐳🏠

010

Minen ★ Digital artist @minenac.bsky.social · 26/02/2026

In that era and in that form (before taking on a human form), they used to travel in packs with others of their kind. Their life cycle revitalized the sea of that era. They used songs to communicate and were creatures in constant migration.

110

Minen ★ Digital artist @minenac.bsky.social · 26/02/2026

I've mentioned before that Thalyssa was a sea creature from the ancient sea (the age of dragons, more or less). Its original form was similar to a mosasaur (yes, it sounds funny, but that's how I imagine it). It's Teyvat, so it wouldn't be surprising, certainly (　・３・)

110

Minen ★ Digital artist @minenac.bsky.social · 26/02/2026

To create Thalyssa, I drew inspiration from creatures like nereids, mermaids, naiads, and other mythological beings linked to water. Also, animals like whales 🐳.

The other day I was talking a bit about Thalyssa in my IG stories. And I think it's information that shouldn't be missed. So here it is: –Note! This is lore from my Genshin OC, hahaha #genshinoc #oc

I share that feeling. I'm just starting out in this environment. I feel awkward, like I'm taking my first steps, and it's embarrassing. (/´△`＼)

Minen ★ Digital artist @minenac.bsky.social · 25/02/2026

Oh! I have the same question. I find it a little difficult to imagine myself doing a Yume ship. But I like creating my OCs to make OC x canon. I understood that it also falls under Yumeship, but I'm not entirely sure ( ´-｀)

I haven't yet fully worked out how he acquired his vision (which happened recently).I like to think of this as a legendary character quest, where the central theme would be overcoming the grief of losing their parents.

000

Minen ★ Digital artist @minenac.bsky.social · 16/02/2026

Well, I'm not the best at creating backgrounds. But I didn't feel like doing anything too complicated either. Just something emotional.

000

Minen ★ Digital artist @minenac.bsky.social · 16/02/2026

Currently, "The Steambird" is his new refuge, where he has found some peace and motivation to keep going. Although he's not yet very sociable, he doesn't disdain the presence of his companions. And although he doesn't actively participate, he enjoys being around them.

000

Minen ★ Digital artist @minenac.bsky.social · 16/02/2026

By luck or fate, the Editor-in-Chief of "The Steambird" commissioned a graphic design for the newspaper. The skillful way in which Désrien arranged the elements to make so much information understandable astonished her. This led to her being offered a position at the newspaper.

100

Minen ★ Digital artist @minenac.bsky.social · 16/02/2026

Désrien was always bad at managing money. And it soon began to affect him. Before becoming destitute, he started taking on small commissions and painting jobs. Although he no longer had the same influence as before, he was still supported by those who had known his parents.

100

Minen ★ Digital artist @minenac.bsky.social · 16/02/2026

Driven by his depression, he gave up or sold most of his belongings, keeping only the bare necessities.

100

Minen ★ Digital artist @minenac.bsky.social · 16/02/2026

Everything collapsed the day of the explosion at the central laboratory of the Institute of Science. His parents died. And there were no remains left to mourn. Désrien's life lost all meaning. So he abandoned all artistic motivation.

100

Minen ★ Digital artist @minenac.bsky.social · 16/02/2026

But when rumors began to circulate about his 'bad behavior' and the type of upbringing he received from his parents, Désrien did his best to appear more sociable, occasionally appearing at social gatherings and being as polite as possible.

100

Minen ★ Digital artist @minenac.bsky.social · 16/02/2026

Although he was not forced by his parents to expose himself to society, he began to feel that he was enough to make his parents proud.

100

Minen ★ Digital artist @minenac.bsky.social · 16/02/2026

He was especially withdrawn during his childhood and adolescence, avoiding social gatherings and even his own art exhibitions (which were managed by his mother).

100

Minen ★ Digital artist @minenac.bsky.social · 16/02/2026

Born to a scientist father and an economist mother who worked at the Institute of Sciences, Désrien lived a comfortable, high-society life with rather indulgent parents.

100

Minen ★ Digital artist @minenac.bsky.social · 16/02/2026

Désrien is the substitute editor of "The Steambird," in charge of the newspaper's layout and design. With a keen eye for visuals, he's the office mouse who hides behind a set square and technical pens.
