20-ish years ago I met Beth and Jay at a party at Blue Room. 10-ish years ago I met Lori through the DC Twitterati. Today they all met in London where Native Washingtonian Pearce is starting college. People may come and go from DC but that doesn’t mean you can’t make lifelong friends here. 😍
