This is the moment my life changed forever. A traveling troop of performers visited and Torbyn invited them to put on a show at the castle. She was the most beautiful creature I had ever set eyes on, and I didn't even know her name. #dnd #dungeonsanddragons #oc #centaur #heroforge

A digital 3D model of a caucasian female centaur with the body of a black-and-white paint Gypsy Vanner. Her long hair and tail, which are also streaked in black and white, are tied in multiple small, intricate braids and decorated with gold beads. Her fingernails and hooves are painted gold and she wears a number of golden piercings- her belly button, eyebrow, earlobes, and right nostril, which is commected to her right earlobe by a thin gold chain. Around her neck is a gold necklace with a star charm and there are gold bangles around all four fetlocks. She wears a red long sleeved crop top blouse and a red short blanket, both with gold trim. The blanket has a lotus flower motif in orange, yellow, and gold. She has pink, yellow, orange, and purple powder splattered all over her from her performance and she is dancing with a tambourine held in her right hand. She is looking off to the side at someone out of view and is smiling broadly, playfully. She is blushing from exertion and joy, or perhaps she is smitten with whoever she has locked eyes with?

Someone is spoiled rotten. Someone thinks she's a princess. ....someone is right. #centaur #oc #dnd ##dungeonsanddragons #catdad #heroforge

A digital 3D model of Jayme, a caucasian male centaur with the body of a bay horse. His dark brown hair is tied back in his normal bun with a braid running down the side of his head. He is dressed for cooler fall weather, wearing a dark blue, long sleeved Henley style shirt with a blue plaid horse blanket and matching short cape. His left arm has been replaced at the shoulder by a black and gold metal prosthetic. In his arms, he holds a fluffy, pure white cat, cradled on her back like a baby. This is Alpipa, Jayme's beloved pet. Her hed rests in the crook of his right elbow and she is reaching up with her left forepaw to boop her favorite person on the nose. Jayme looks down at her with a deeply affectionate smile.

A close up of the previous image, cropped at Jayme's human abdomen to highlight how lovingly he looks down at the cat. At this angle, the notch in his right eyebrow, gray streak in his hair, and scars on the knuckles of his right hand are visible, as well as a hint of the scarring on his cjest peaking through the open top buttons of his shirt.

This is Grant now. I went searching for my birth herd after Torbyn hung a foot in my ass about it and actually found them! Can you belive that scrawny sack of bony elbows grew up to be THIS guy?! Puberty hit him like a raging Barbarian 🤣 #dnd #centaur #oc #ttrpg #heroforge #dungeonsanddragons

A digital 3D model of Grant, a greenish-blue eyed caucasian male centaur with the body of a palamino horse, now all grown up. His body is covered in faint brown freckles called "fleabitten" markings and his left foreleg has a white stocking marking. His tail and hair are blond and his hair is still a curly mop like it was in childhood. But unlike his sickly childhood self, he stands tall and strong, having outgrown the ailments caused by his premature birth. He appears to be well muscled and in excellent condition. Grant wears a long-sleeved dark blue tunic and matching short blanket, both of which have red trim and white detailing and laces. Around his neck is a silver necklace with a star pendant. He smiles crookedly at someone out of frame.

Speaking of my childhood, I thought you might like to meet my friend Grant. He was born early, scrawny and sickly. Some of the elders even whispered that his Ma should just leave him behind. But he was a Clydesdale worth of "fight me" crammed into a pony worth of kid. #dnd #oc #ttrpg #heroforge

The child version of Jayme, a caucasian male centaur with the body of a bay horse, stands beside another child centaur- a caucasian boy with the body of a palamino. This is Grant. Grant has a messy mop of blond curls and greenish-blue eyes. He is very slightly built, appearing small and almost malnourished when compared to Jayme despite being only a few months younger. Both boys are filthy and disheveled. Grant has a black eye, a missing front baby tooth, and a bloody nose. Jayme has a large bruise on one cheek, twigs in his hair, and a split lower lip that is seeping blood. In one hand Jayme holds a broken slingshot, his other hand pressed to his forehead in a facepalming expression. He appears aggravated. The green vest and short blanket that he's wearing are covered in mud. Beside him, Grant grins unrepentantly. He holds a large stick in one hand and is rubbing the back of his neck with the other. There is an old, rusty and battered shield at his feet with a chunk missing and he has grass stains all over the knees of his forelegs and the oversized, sleeveless and threadbare blue tunic and tan loincloth style wrap that he wears. His right rear leg has a bandage tied around it.

There was this river my herd often camped near when I was little- calm and shallow and I loved playing in it, even when I was supposed to be fishing and gathering berries for my Ma. I got robbed by a pair of bandits but Ma was more mad about how bad I stank! #centaur #dnd #ttrpg #dungeonsanddragons

A young version (approximately 7 years old) of Jayme, a caucasian male centaur with the body of a bay horse, plays in knee deep water on a riverbank in a tranquil forest. His shoulder length, dark brown hair is loose and wild. His clothes have been hung on a branch nearby and a fishing pole with a freshly caught fish on the hook leans against the same tree. Below the tree is a large fallen branch dotted with red mushrooms. Nearby is a bush covered in small, purple berries. On a large, flat rock next to the bush is a woven basket, which has been knocked over and the berries are spilled everywhere. A skunk has its head stuffed in the basket as it scarfs the berries as fast as it can. Climbing head-first down the tree where Jayme's fishing pole rests is a second skunk, intent on making the fish its dinner. Jayme obliviously frolics in the water, moments from noticing the bandits and turning the situation into a very stinky disaster.

You know, I used to juggle the small bombs I made for combat because it gave Arduina premature gray feathers and made Aryn and Torbyn laugh. Turns out the village kids appreciate my skills, too! #centaur #dnd #dungeonsanddragons #oc #ttrpg #dumbartifacertricks

Jayme, a caucasian male centaur with the body of a bay horse and a black metal prosthetic replacing his left arm is facing the viewer, outside in an autumn forest scene with fairy lights draped across the tree branches. He is reared up on his hind legs and demonstrating his juggling skills with four lit torches, grinning and laughing while he throws and catches them with ease. He's wearing the same long-sleeved cream shirt and orange, red, and cream plaid horse blanket and marching cape from the precious image. To his left is Alpipa, his fluffy white cat, who stands upon a wooden barrel on her hind paws, her front paws swatting up at the air as though she, too, is juggling. On the opposite side of the barrel is a beautiful female centaur with the body of a striking black-and-white paint Gypsy Vanner horse. Her long hair and tail both match her pelt's coloration, with black and white streaks. Both are intricately braided with golden beads woven throughout. She has a dusting of freckles and her eyes are different colors-one blue, one brown. She is wearing a pale gold top that is quite skimpy- it wraps connects to a choker style gold necklace, drapes in an open vest style to (barely) cover her breasts, and passes back over her hips to tie at her human lower back. She also wears a vibrant red patka-style waist sash covering what would be her right hip if she were a biped. It is decorated with multiple golden belts and tassels, and embroidered with a lotus flower motif in gold and orange. She wears golden bangles around both biceps and all four fetlocks. Her fingernails and hooves are painted gold and she sports many gold piercings, including a chain between her left nostril and ear lobe. Gold powder is artfully splattered over her horse body. She is in a low rear pose that resembles a levade maneuver and balances a scitmitar on her right index finger. She, too, is smiling and laughing.

Who is she? It's a mystery- Jayme hasn't mentioned her before!

Jayme is wearing a cream long sleeved shirt and an orange, red, and cream plaid horse blanket with a matching short cape over his shoulders. On his right shoulder, he balances a keg and in his metal prosthetic left hand he holds a pair of large, overflowing beer steins. He is walking towards a table that is laden with a feast, including a cauldron of soup, baskets of bread, fruit, and vegetables, a plate of fish, a plate of large drumsticks, and a pie. Close to the table sits his fluffy white cat Alpipa, who is standing up on her back paws so she can examine the contents of the table.

The first thing I made as a rookie artifacer was my original prosthetic arm, which was heavy & a bit clunky. My newest version is much lighter, has a harness to distribute the weight, and the gem in the palm is enchanted. It requires tune ups occasionally. #centaur #dnd #dungeonsanddragons #oc

A digital 3D model of Jayme, a caucasian centaur with the body of a bay horse, hard at work in a smithy. He is shirtless and sweaty, and he has removed his black metal prosthetic left arm, which magically floats in front of him as he works on it with his leather glove covered right hand. All of his scars are on display, including a notch in his right eyebrow, multiple lacerations on his chest and right arm, and whip marks on his hindquarters. The remains of his left shoulder where the arm was severed is covered in a red, angry looking burn scar. Jayme stands at an anvil with a work table to his right, and multiple metal working tools are scattered about, as well as two pouches full of small tools like screwdrivers attached to a belt around his human waist. Smoke and sparks fly from a lit forge behind him. He has a look of pleased concentration, his tongue poking out of the corner of his mouth. There is a single white streak in his dark brown hair, which has been put up in a messy bun from which several strands have escaped. The bun is held in place by a pencil that has been stabbed through it like a makeshift hair pin. On the floor near the forge but out from under Jayme's hooves is Alpipa, his fluffy white cat. She is curled up in a soft purple, nest-like cat bed and pawing at a blue ball of yarn, ignoring Jayme.

A close-up view of Jayme, taken from the first image and zoomed in from Jayme's left side as he works. He is holding a screwdriver and adjusting something in the palm of his prosthetic arm, which floats in front of him, held up by a translucent swirl of yellow-orange magic. He has his tongue between his teeth, poking out of his mouth a little without realizing it due to his intense focus on his task.

A close up view of Alpipa taken from the first image, happily batting at her ball of yarn in her cozy bed and paying no attention to Jayme or his work.

Last but not least is Aryn, a Triton and storm cleric. I know I said Alpipa's the only one allowed on my back...Aryn's a special case. I suppose she was my first crush. Yes I was 22 when we met. It's hard to find love when you're a slave from 6-21. #dnd #heroforge #oc #dungeonsanddragons #centaur

A digital 3D model of Jayme, a caucasian male centaur with dark brown hair and the body of a bay horse, viewed from his right side. There is a single gray streak in his hair. Sitting in a side saddle pose on his back is Aryn, a blue skinned woman who is clearly a type of mer creature. She has fin shaped ears as well as fins on her calves. She has green hair and wears a silver scale mail top with a cream shirtless halter top styled shirt over it, secured with a dark blue/green belt. Under the armor is a long sleeved black shirt, over which are secured silver bracers on her wrists. Slung low on her hips is an intricately woven, looping belt made of many pearls. Her capri cut pants are the same color as the halter top, with panels on the outside in the same dark blue/green as the belt. Her feet are covered in thin rope sandals in a darker tan. Along the top length of her ears sit gold cuffs, and there are also small gold hoops in the lower lobes. She wears a delicate gold circlet on her forehead. She is looking down at her hands, which hold Jayme's tail as she secures sea shells into it. Jayme peers over his shoulder at her, smiling affectionately and indulgently. He is wearing his blue Captain's uniform and matching short blanket. His prosthetic arm is not visible but many scars can be seen on his body, including up and down his right arm, a notch in his right eyebrow, and what might be lash marks on his hindquarters. Alpipa, Jayme's fluffy white cat, follows along, peering up at Aryn with curiosity.

A different view of the same 3D digital model of a centaur, Triton, and cat. This is from Jayme's left side. Neither his nor Aryn's face are visible, only their backs and Jayme's left side. The lash scars on his hindquarters are much more visible from this angle, and his black and gold metal prosthetic left arm is contorted around into a position that would likely be quite painful or outright impossible for a natural arm so that he can support Aryn and make sure she doesn't fall off his back while she braids and decorates his tail with sea shells. From this angle you can also see the small blue and cream conch shell woven into Jayme's half up bun, which has been there for many years and he wears as a token of her friendship.

A digital 3D model of Jayme (viewed from his right side), a caucasian centaur with dark brown hair and the body of a bay horse, happily greeting his friend Arduina, an owl/human hybrid resembling a brown and white Barred Owl. Jayme wears his sleeveless blue Captain's uniform shirt with a matching short blanket and there is a small conch sea shell in his hair, which is in a half up, half down bun with a braid down each side of his head. There is a single streak of gray visible from his right temple. He has a multitude of scars visible, including several up and down his right arm and a slit in his right eyebrow. His metal prosthetic left arm is barely visible, his right hand is clasped in Arduina's left in greeting, as though they are arm wrestling. Arduina wears a dark gray, sleeveless plate armor top and leather pants, a satchel and quiver full of red-fletched arrows dangling from her hips. Another quiver and a long bow are slung over her back. Her wings are folded loosely against her back and Alpipa, Jayme's fluffy white cat, sits at her clawed feet. Alpipa is standing up on her back paws and batting at Arduina's feathers, her bright blue eyes blown wide in her fascination.

Jayme, a caucasian centaur with dark brown hair and the body of a bay horse, relaxes in a hot spring. He is laying on his back with his horse feet popping up out of the water. His prosthetic left arm has been removed and is sitting safely nearby out of the water. His beloved Alpipa, a fluffy white cat, is also curled up in the background, keeping watch but avoiding getting damp. Thought I'd share some of the ridiculous things that my party said during our two year campaign to kill that damned dragon, as well as an unrelated sketch of me done by my IRL friend Derrick #centaur #dnd #dungeonsanddragons

A picture of a series of character quotes, created to bypass the tiny character limit on BlueSky. The quotes are:

Me: "Well, I have an ax, a pry bar, and explosives. I'm getting through that door one way or another."

Me to Torbyn after he failed to sneak about because of his loud as hell plate armor: “I could make you some muffling boots. You could have SNEAKERS.”

“Just how much of a ruckus do you want?”

Arduina, after being stabbed: “how rude!”

Torbyn to Aryn: “Murder isn’t the question, it’s the answer. We’re just debating the methodology.”

A digital line art drawing of Jayme, a centaur wearing plate armor. His left arm is a metal prosthetic reminiscent of the Winter Soldier.

This is Torbyn. KING Torbyn, now. My best friend, my confidant. We got off to a rough start because I was so busted, mentally and physically, but he worked his way in somehow. There's no one I'd rather have at my back. Alpipa clearly loves him to too. #dnd #dungeonsanddragons #centaur

A digitally rendered 3D model of two men, one of whom is a centaur with the body of a bay horse with black stockings, walking together through a medieval style town. The human man is on the left, wearing silver plate armor and a sword slung over his back. This is Torbyn. Torbyn has auburn hair and a matching beard. Jayme, the centaur, is wearing a sleeveless blue shirt and his dark brown hair is tied back in a bun with a braid running down the side of his head. He has several days worth of dark stubble on his cheeks rather than a full beard like his friend. His left arm is a black metal prosthetic with gold detailing, reminiscent of the Winter Soldier. The two men are smiling laughing together, each with an arm slung around the other's shoulders. In their free hands they carry large tankards of beer or ale. Alpipa, a fluffy white cat with blue eyes, is perched on Jayme's back and leaning across to give Torbyn an affectionate head bonk.

A close up view of the previous image, cropped in on just their faces and upper torsos. Torbyn has faint freckles that weren't visible in the more distant image. His eyes are closed and his head thrown back in boisterous laughter as Alpipa nuzzles him and Jayme grins at them.

What little of his tail is visible has been cropped short and tied up. He is completely undressed and in the process of washing himself from a tub of soapy water. His body is heavily scarred, from busted knuckles to whip lash marks on his hindquarters to a large, angry looking red scar on his left chest and shoulder, seemingly a burn. Jayme appears to be very angry and upset at someone out of frame, his left arm trying to cover some of the scars on his chest while he flips the subject the middle finger with his right.
